Under 44 points in tonight's NFL game is available at 20/21 with BMU.
Washington will want to run the ball after Kirk Cousins threw four interceptions. New York HAVE to run the ball as they only have one wide receiver in Odell Beckham Jr. New York are quite good at stopping the run but it's a win at all costs game for them and you can't see many risks being taken tonight, after throwing consecutive games away.
Anything over 41 feels too high to me, off a short week and given the importance of a win.
£42 for £40 if we fancy. £21 for £20 if no comments at all.
Under 44 Washington Redskins at New York Giants Total Points
20/21
Total Stake: £42.00
Potential Returns: £81.90
you could do worse than dutching alfred morris and matt jones first TD too
http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/washington-redskins-at-new-york-giants/first-touchdown-scorer
washington are going to run it a lot until someone stops them
I don't like the unders tonight tbh, I think the line is about right. Although I agree Washington will want to run it, Giants have had no answers for the run so far this season - Coleman got off to a flyer before injury Sunday and Freeman came in and was hardly stopped.
Having said that, the position who Giants have had more trouble stopping in my opinion is Tightends. Witten got 2 td's in week 1 amongst his 8 catches, while Jacob Tamme got 77 yards out of his 4 catches on Sunday.
Washington, without Desean Jackson have been using their TE alot more. Cousins looks like he has a great relationship with a finally healthy Jordan Reed. 11 targets in week 1 (7 catches, 63 yds, 1td) and another 6 catches on 6 targets for 82 yards this week. I have already bet Reed anytime TD at 23/10 but I still think the 21/10 available with BFSB is value in this matchup.
I've only found one site (Paddy) that are offering Reed receiving yards, 55ish if I remember, if anyone knows another site with a line please let me know, thanks.
Cliffs : Jordan Reed anytime 21/10 rec £20 BFSB
A team running the ball successfully significantly increases the likelihood of the unders coming in, so NYG having "no answers for the run" is a positive.. I think it's a good bet.

I'm well aware that's the case however as I said I think the line is about right. What I mean about having no answers is that Washington runners can score points, in 1 play or in 10 due to both backs explosiveness and NYG's not being able to stop them.

"Giants have had no answers for the run this season?"
I don't agree.
http://www.bigblueview.com/ny-giants-washington-redskins-nfl-schedule-week-3-preview-score-recap-analysis/2015/9/23/9370507/2015-ny-giants-defense-washington-redskins-kenrick-ellis-john-hankins-devon-kennard-Jon-beason
The good news is that while the Giants haven't pressured quarterbacks the way they are accustomed to, they have been stout against the run thus far in 2015. Against the vaunted Cowboys' offensive line, the Giants limited Dallas to 81 yards on 22 carries (3.7 yards per carry). The next week they held the Atlanta Falcons to 57 yards on 21 caries (2.7 yards per carry). The Giants' success has come from greatly improved discipline on the defensive front, with players -- for the most part -- filling the appropriate gaps, and making sound tackles.

couple of interesting bits and bobs
Heading into tonight's game, Eli Manning is 5-for-20 on passes thrown 10 or more yards downfield, the worst completion percentage in NFL.
for sunday, so far this season Sam Bradford has attempted three (total) passes more than 20 yards downfield, all three incomplete
of course teams can overcome this if they can run the ball well, have a decent short passing game and play good defense..but its a lot harder to be an overs team if you don't have a long threat, i think

OK, running backs.
Randle average 4.1 per carry in the first game fwiw, Mcfaddens inability to ever find a hole skews those numbers slightly. But whether it be from the line or dump/screen passes is what I mean by RB's getting through the Giants. I think Randle had a couple of short passes into decent gains in Week 1 and Freeman managed it on a couple of occasions too. From what i've watched and considering the Giants were leading in both games for the most part and teams will be throwing downfield to catch up, I don't think they are necessarily as good against the run as that write up would suggest.

Nevertheless this is all irrelevant really. Washington will be running the ball like you said, I just think 44 is about right and wouldn't like either side confidently, (IMO!).

Wouldn't be 100% about this, towards the end of last season LVG seemed to rotate penalty takers, basically when one missed another would step up. Rooney took and missed one with RVP and Mata on pitch, then RVP took and missed one with the same 3 still on the pitch, and after that Mata took and scored one with the other 2 on the pitch. From this I was expecting (read: hoping for fantasy league) that Mata would be on pens, however this season I think Man U have had two penalties, neither of which Mata has been on the pitch for. I can't remember who took their first (may well have been Rooney) but Herrera took their 2nd when Rooney also wasn't on the pitch. Basically a long winded way of saying Rooney may not be the current 1st choice penatly taker, and even if he is there's a chance it doesn't last! Saying that he's probably still fav and he's scored a couple penalties for England already since the season started.

man u, arsenal etc pick strong teams tonight
5000 Sheffield Wednesday fans at St James' Park tonight, making a racket.
Their manager has picked his reserves!
And our reserves still beat Newcastle! Shows how bad they are.
Barry Neville came in Genting tonight after getting back from the game and said we played them off the park.
Newcastle are appalling to the point where I expected to get beat yesterday. However, when Sheffield Wednesday decided to play their reserves, and Newcastle decided to play their full strength side, I thought we might be okay. But no.
I'm starting to build up a tolerance to dismal displays and have long accepted the fact that we don't really have a chance of achieving anything in the near future. A success this season, in my book, would be finishing above Sunderland (who are offering a crumb of comfort by being equally poor). If we finish 19th, and they finish 20th, that's a successful season
It's all a bit laughable ..
Anyhow, F1 bets will be up in a couple of hours.
