What are the chances of Arsenal playing a very weakened team tomorrow away to Wednesday in the League Cup?

Hillsborough set to be a sell out and Arsenal are looking like likely title contenders & may need to rest players for the crucial Champions League games. Is there any chance that Arsene decides to play a weakened side or maybe even worse? I can see the League Cup being the last thing they need.

Wednesday could be a bet at 7/1, because, it's surely a likely weakened Arsenal side regardless?

Well done Aaron

nice pick, last thing arsenal needed was picking up injures to first team players so getting 2 carried off in 20 minutes not a good sign

sheff wed bet has legs, unlike arsenals midfield.

Yep. Glad I did the last minute switcheroo. Couldn't turn down the value in the end

Smiley To funny. Did we also decide to back Sanchez for bootage at 20-1 to?

Thanks who posted how bad Doncaster are, looks like a chance on my millwall +3.5 goals bet

Darren ferguson obviously not a believer in new manager syndrome either

Gone-at-the-game Fergie + Chaplow + bunch of has-beens who'll probably be played out of position = relegation.

anyone see the main sky dogs race?  1/6 shot fell out the boxes, lost 6 lengths at the traps wins going away.  Incredible race.

My first thought was that someone had sprayed WD40 in his box, amazing run.

@DRFHersh breeze really good on it...!!! Never been a flashy breeze horse by himself...!!! Will be soft on Friday/sat for everybody

Who is that you may ask? The assistant trainer to the great Bill Mott and has been working some of there horses.

The ground is now officially soft.

Sounds like the ARU got better odds than most of the rest of us. 10/1 on Australia winning.

Charlie Hall Chase.
Ballynagour ran silvianco conti to a  head last year, beating Holwell  in the process. Was still going well when falling in Punchestown gold cup, then went to France and had a confidence boosting win, then ran again over there, but not so well, but was beaten by their other horse at a bigger price Smiley
Menorah won race last year , but bar silvianco who ran poorly was a weak race.was 8/1 when winning that weaker race, 7/1 now, doesnt look value.
Many clouds ran a fantastic race in national to win, but was completley legless after and had to be dismounted just to get back to the paddock, obvs had a long time to recover, but can take a race sometimes to see where you are again.
Cue card hasnt won for 2 years, hasnt shown much last few races.
Holwell could be a danger.
Dynaste, could thats Could just maybe be not quite as good as he was.
Here is the other part of the puzzle.....
Ballynagour is also entered in hurdle race at wetherby, BUT Dynaste the fav is entered in Ireland.
IF Dynaste doesnt run AND Ballynagour does the 8/1 with Paddyman is BIG.
The other side of the coin you could do yer money in cold blood if he doesnt run .
Of couse they could both run and 8/1 would still be a decent price.
How do we see the risk/reward of the options?
Personally i have had a little bit on at and fingers crossed for a run.

The final decs are out tomorrow, but i think paddys have shortened it now.
if they all run will be cracking race

Can anyone see any angles on backing against the four favourites tonight in the league cup matches? I don't think Palace is a bet personally, but of the other three games and their starting line ups?

Used to be the oldest coup in the book fifteen years ago to have a lucky 15 on the dogs in these spots.  Couple of lads paid for their houses at 365 way back landing coups like this on the carling cup.  Couldn't put you off.

Surely someone has something similar to below, so that us muggles don't steam in Grin

Let me tell y'all something for free. Wednesday can't beat arsenal if we send out any 11 of our first team squad. We're talking about arsenal here..not West Bromwich or summat
