Great stuff again with the cbb market Chompy, relentless.

Hey Arb, does it usually take 3 or 4 races before you spot a genuine bias at these meetings?

No good for Fred as it's Scuey who are top price, but others can get on if they so wish.

Michael Hussey top Thunder batsman in the Big Bash tomorrow morning. With Khawaja not playing as he's on international duty I'd have Hussey as a 7/2 shot, so we're getting a full point bigger. He's 3/1 in places. Along with Khawaja being out Kallis looks likely to miss out through injury, and will be replaced by young Kiwi Henry Nicholls. He's just starting his international career, and as a last-minute signing he was likely chosen due to being a short flight away rather than being of any great world-class ability. First up he could struggle to make a big impact. Watson is the main danger, who's looked in good touch lately shouldn't be a shorter price than Hussey imo.

Hussey has been in good nick (scores of 80*, 16, 0*, 71, 56 and 13) this competition and his game should be a good fit against the Sixers bowling attack. He plays spin very well (they have 3 spinners) and is brutal against the short ball (Abbott has a tendency to pitch short quite often). His highest score this season (the 80 not out) was against the Sixers so they look to be taking a risk going 9/2 here. He missed a game with a hamstring injury earlier in the season but was back fit for the last game so that shouldn't hamper him here.

41 off 29 from Huss, but was always struggling to catch Watto's 66 off 41

Thanks Rich, & go Troicki.

Who is that lady in the photo? Reminds me of that woman in The Adams Family.

Not posted here for a long time but here goes!

Wolves vs Cardiff

Michael Zyro

Basically he's a new signing for Wolves, made home debut midweek alone up top and scored a first half brace. Should start up top again today with Afobe gone and Le Fondre ineligible vs parent club Cardiff. I think he's predominantly a winger but obviously knows where the goal is based on his debut.

Only other striker to worry about, Siguroarson played his first game in 2 years for the club on 1st January and got a bit of an injury. (Might be back on bench today)
Seems silly to think they'll start with anyone other than Zyro up top after a first half brace in midweek! Certainly not priced up as starting lone striker anyway.

Rec £60 10/3 (or 3/1 if can't get in there)
£10 2 or more 28/1

How do you take adavantage of this lay them or back them or a bit of both??

It is just another factor i take into account when pricing up each dog as to whether i back or lay them.  There are no hard and fast rules other than if i think a dog is too short based on all the factors i look at in a race (including a potential bias) then i lay it.  Too big i back it.  I really is that simple.

My fav spot to really get stuck into a dog badly drawn bias wise is slow starting dogs at short tracks like Romford and Crayford.  It is hard enough to come from behind at these tracks at the best of times if you have a bias against you some of these dogs sometimes just have little chance at all compared to their price and i will max place lay them as well as win lay them.

I think another key is seeing biases when the results don't suggest there is a going bias because of trouble in races etc.  There can still be an outside bias when dogs over perform but find trouble in races.  These can be more beneficial because other people don't see them.  It really is only one factor though.  A badly drawn dog trap wise will still struggle to win even if the ground is in it's favour.  As the old saying goes 'draws win races'.

I think Crayford this morning might be an example of this.  Wides won first race.  2nd race 5 and 6 flew out the traps and took each other out at the first bend (if they hadn't would have probably been a 5x6 result). I will be keeping a close eye on the wides at Crayford next few races

Sigh, 10/3 gone on Zyro

3/1 still avail if people can get on there.
