This might be of interest to some people

The referee for Liverpool v Man United has shown 74 yellows and 6 reds in his last 12 games

http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/2016-03-10-southwell/16:25/winner

Tight race this, however made Sir Billy Wright a 3/1/100/30 shot here so at 9/2 worthy of a small bet.

SUGGEST £20 WIN at 9/2

i wasn't on to see this last night, now 7/2 favourite sorry

is there any reason why East Stirling are 7/1 against Arbroath this weekend in the Scottish League 2? They're bottom of the table on 27 points but they're playing 2nd bottom of the table on 32 points, and have just got rid of their manager. Arbroath also haven't won since the end of January, whereas East Stirling have picked up a huge 2 wins since then, and are in slightly better form (or less terrible form).

7/1 with bet365 looks big. Suggest £10 on east Stirling

we can't use bet365 sorry

also don't think we know much about scotland div 2!

Morning Tighty.

The Indian Wells tournament starts today. If Djokovic is fully fit, I have a small concern that he isn't after he struggled to beat Kukushkin in the Davis cup, then they should just proceed to the final with him and Murray.

There is a bet that I like though, and that is in the winner of the 2nd quarter. Favourite is Nishikori, who I like as a player but he does have a weak second serve which gives decent players a chance of breaking him. Next in the betting is Nadal, who I will be looking for a spot to oppose him. Then we have John Isner. Isner was not at his best last year, however he appears in much better fettle this season. He won both his Davis cup matches last week, serving 39 aces in one match alone and more importantly breaking Tomic's serve on several occasions. He reached the semi's at this tournament 2 years ago and should go well this week.

Suggest £15 Isner to win 2nd 1/4 @ 6-1 with betvictor.

True, I know close to shite all on Scottish league 2! But on the face of it 7/1 for bottom vs second bottom, who are separated by only 5 points, seems pretty decent. When you consider Bournemouth are priced a 5/1 shot away at Spurs next weekend which is 2nd vs 14th, and separated by 20 points how bad can it be?

Fwiw I fully expect this to bomb now I've tried to convince that it has a chance.

They also played on the 23/02 in which it was 0-0. I think it is definitely worth a punt but probably not in TFT.

no problem, i dont know enough about scottish league 2 to compare it to premier league prices.

these are part time teams, frequently play triallists etc? note the scorer in their last game http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34952267

we cant use bet365 anyway but if the price is up anyway else prod me nearer the weekend

perhaps people like teacake who are well up on scottish football might have an opinion

The Arbroath v East Stirling odds do seem a bit odd - Arbroath have only scored one goal in their last 6 games. Perhaps the bookies are giving a lot of weight to the fact Arbroath's last win was 3-0 away at E Stirling at the end of Jan.

I remember laying a £32,000 bet to a punter for the firm i was working at in 2003/4 season at 1/16 for Gretna to beat East Stirling in a Scottish Division 3 league match!  Never go skint laying a short one.  Gretna won 9-0 i think.  East Sterling players spent most of that season backing themselves to lose games as they were not getting paid.  They landed a fair few winning at ht/losing at ft ht/ft bets at 33/1 i seem to recall including some incredible last few minutes antics in some games to make sure they landed the gambles.  I remember one game they had 3 men sent off i think in the last 10 mins even though they were 1-0 up in order to make sure the other team landed the gamble for them.  Not sure if they are getting up to their old tricks.
