if i have missed anything, shout

tikay might like to check his BFSB open bets, 29 feb, for some news on Vautour which might brigthen his day.

Crikey, is that a Fred bet? Who gave us that?

£50 @ 9/2, very nice, Value Pie incoming.

it was late at night

Patrick Mullins had just been quoted as saying it was going to the ryanair

i thought i would place it, and pop the quote on the thread in the morning, bound to be accepted etc

i popped the quote on the thread, to be told not to listen to patrick, listen to willie or something similar. need nrnb etc etc

forgot about it, then forgot to give you £50 for it at DTD because it looked like a mistake on my part

hopefully we've got lucky

Ooh, lovely job, thank you.

I'll always stand any bets you place on my behalf, win or lose, good or bad. What price am I on Leicester?

The prices have got better since last night, so this was the rest.

13.55  I had this as a back Min if he went 11/4 this morrning.  The BF price is heading that way, so expect someone will at some stage this morning.  The other I liked is Belshill.  If he didn't put a bad run in last time, surely he'd be shorter.  If you take 14/1 quarter first 3 you are more or less getting betfair prices on both, so if you can get a bonus (eg with 365) then it looks a bet.

14.50  This looks a good race with a few bookies going quarter first 4.  You can probably put more bets on on those terms, but I picked out is Kruzhlinin.  Changed stables, won once and seems to have been put away (10/1 and 5 places with tote, fred, vic)  Suggest 25 each way on those terms.

I can't get it, as it is with victor, but Carole's Destrier also looks a bet at 14/1 5 places.  Proper stayer could come in handy over this trip.  If we can get on with Victor suggest £25 e/w Carole's Destrier 14/1 5 places .  hopefully 365 will match soon.

The other one is Un Temps Pour Tout.  I can't get 16/1 5 places yet, but am hoping that I get it later.  This horse won the french champion hurdle and is thrown in if it can get anywhere near over fences.  Recent form sugests it can't, but I am willing to chance it.

16.10  This looks an obvious dirty e/w race, but I don't like Polly Peachum much.  The Govaness looks to be close to that one, so I took  16/1 quarter first 3 with sporting, which has gone as I have been writing (ffs).  Maybe 365 will match later?  If we can get on at those terms I'd be happier to rec £25 e/w.  Hills mobile is probably ok too with worse e/w terms but the extra for 2nd.

edit Southfield Royale is 15/2 with 365.  let me know if you want any?

16.50 Southfield Royale 25 e/w at 7/1 with victor pls.  Nina can ride well, not sure how many of the rest can.  horse looks decent.  The race is quite a bit longer than it has run before, but it won over 3 miles on heavy and assume they aren't going to go super quick in this race.

Yet to look at the last.

As far as I recall, "good to soft, soft in places" was not offered was it?

If that's the case, we should be OK.

I'm sure you're fine for the official going bet.  Not sure who you placed with but I think this from the Bet365 site is a pretty standard rule across the board

" In the event of a mixed going description we will pay out on the prevailing conditions (e.g. Good, Good to Soft in places  Good)."

By the way, we are well funded on william hill, always have been

they seem to be ducking everything this week?

4 places when others are five, 1/5 when others are 1/4, couple of spots off on some prices

this would be a high up decision? trader policy? why would they be so uncompetitive in one of the biggest weeks of the year for acquisition etc?
