long dog

tried to weigh up hills at 7-1 now and offer v 8-1 no offer

took the 8-1

        Bet Type: Single
            Cheltenham [14:50] 3m Nov Hurdle Grade1
                Long Dog 8/1
Possible Payout (inc. stake) 225.00 GBP
    1 bet @
    25.00 GBP

    Total Cost: 25.00 GBP
Total Possible Payout (inc. stake): 225.00 GBP

sure it is best without the offer, price seems to have gone quickly

I like Laurium in the Martin Pipe today. Should love the good ground and has decent form here when second to Penglai Pavilion. Unexposed and an enticing 25/1 with 5 places 1/4 for those with a Bet £3.65 account.

Any neigh-sayers?

£10 each way if not then, please.

can't do this

only two places are 5 spots e/w and the other is 20/1

if anyone wants to place it please let me know

booked

Thanks David, I hope you are keeping track of all these bets, as I'm not, & I'm all over the shop this week.

Drop me a PM if there's any damage when it's done & dusted, & I'll settle up pronto, don't want to get all behind again.

Thanks.

Thanks for sticking all these up, Doobs.

Particularly the ones that won

My longshot of the day is Sternrubin in the 2.10. Hated the mud last time. If Fred wants a fiver each way, Stan offers five places at an industry best 40/1. Booked if you say so.

Just had a look at the thread over the last couple of days. Quick question, where are you from the original stake?

Made a bit on the In Play offer last night on Bet365, so will invest some in the tips here, better than me using a pin and the paper.

+£9.4k at c6% since Feb 2012, initial bank £3k

past results are no guide to future performance

only bet what you can afford to lose

one day in isolation means little. the cheltenham bets today are all "at prices" and might all lose

good luck!

Tal could you put a tenner each way on Red Spinner in the last with Satan at 50/1 for thread.  Got quite a bit of firmish ground form.

If Tighty doesn't want it, I'll have it.

Qualando at 10/1 with Hills in the 4.50 is good too.  Suggest 20 each way with Hills   we only get 4 places but get the free bet for 2nd.

Needed to wait until the tipping comp closed, particularly on Red Spinner!

Cheers

Grin Love the get out clauses.

All my gambles are at my own risk, I never blame anyone but me for my losses.

That's a good return isn't it? Especially as you're insuring yourselves against bad days so not going for a big score.

we're quite proud of it (we=180 tipsters). can't get on quite a few bets put up, and made a load of mistakes (keeping accounts, types of bets etc) particularly early on too so i would have a good stab at arguing that the run rate of profits could have been higher

Have you ever taken any cash outs?

Also I'd imagine people are following on their own coin as well, so some profit for punters too.

no cash outs no. cash outs are bad Rod :-). you are being juiced for a second time (once on the initial bet, then on the cash out) as long as you are betting within bankroll, shouldn't be cashing out. (we could argue the point on big acca massive pending returns i suppose, the deal or no deal/life changing sum principle)

wouldn't like to estimate how much followers have made. many times the monetary amount the thread has made i'd guess.
