17 runners in the silver cup today. 4 places 1/4 everywhere.

Nicky Henderson says he loves Champagne Express but the last run was a disappointment. Nico missing on top, too.

I still can't resist at 25/1.

meeting and time please?

do you want it on tft?

Sorry. 3.15 at Kempton.

It is a horse I have mentioned before ITT. A good friend has half an eyelash. Nothing more than personal interest really. Was entered into the Coral Cup and the Martin Pipe but didn't make the cut.

See if any wiser sages think it is worth a bet

Morning Tal.

Was out with my mate who owns a different eyelash in same racing club. It seems like your mate should have read the club blog, as Hendo pointed members in the direction of the winner, and said CE had little chance......Not that he told me either! Sad

Morning Tighty.

Today Exeter host Northampton in the rugby union premiership. We re getting to the business end of the season and as fond of Exeter as I am I still think they lack power throughout the team, a bit like Scotland. I think they might get out muscled today and getting over 2/1 is good enough. With their win away at Saracens, Northampton showed that they have the necessary mettle to win at Exeter today.

Suggest £15 Northampton @ 21/10 with Betfair.

Winners

Vettel led on the first lap, both Ferrari's got a flier +£100

Arsenal still in with a squeak after winning at Everton

but

Watford spread bet points are hard to come by. Stoke are 7th but in thiss trange season aren't going to win top Midlands side

Big win for Norwich, bad news for our relegation bet but good news for the Sunderland relegation bet. Could do with Newcastle winning at lunchtime to put Norwich and Sunderland in the bottom three

Charlton got stuffed

QPR got pegged back

Leeds rewarded their biggest crowd of the season by getting stuffed by Huddersfield whole Preston were drawing. Preston now 6  points ahead of Leeds

Wigan won, but Burton keep winning and Wigan are six points off the top in 2nd

Bury and Chesterfield drew, Bury are 7 points ahead in that match bet. Chesterfield are 5 points above the drop with 9 games to go

Good report Rich, thanks.

Were it not for the gasp-worthy Leicester results this Season, all eyes would be on West Ham, what a wonderful Manager Mr Bilic is turning out to be. He will go places, for sure, a top job awaits that man.

Strange times, Leicester top, three London clubs in the top 4, the traditionally great teams in Manchester & Liverpool all a bit under it, & both North East teams utterly woeful.

Utterly fascinating.

Amazed Pardew has not recalled Sulley K from the shrews? Looked like a Bolaise light yesterday but the locals love him, sure he could do some damage for you from the bench at least

A point of possible interest for the Curragh. Of the big trainers in the last five seasons Dermot Weld has the best A/E return (1.02). A smaller trainer though well respected is Paul Deegan his A/E return for March and April last 5 seasons is 1.33 comfortably top of anyone with a sample size worth looking at.

He is in better form than the initial form figures look as well, 1 from his last 7 runners but 2nds at 7/1 and 7/2 creditable runs from two 33s shots and a very unlucky third at Dundalk Friday night at 14s (after missing the start and being stopped twice in the run).

He has 5 runners in the opening meeting at the Curragh today.

Corail in a listed fillies event (up against it on form)

Sruthan Aussie Valentine in the irish lincoln (both been nibbled already usual hard race to win obviously)

Okra and Eight and Bob in the maiden that ends the card (both be any price both newcomers)

Not suggesting backing any of them as not done the races to any degree just putting it out there.

Had Kaikai marked down as a possible summer Poshie signing. You think he's destined for bigger things? Darragh and Steve P seem to be regular lunch buddies.

On yesterday yes the regular suggest he is a different player to a few months back, no idea if he could do it in the Prem i am sure Yannick or Zaha could get more goals in league one.

New Zealand spinner as Leigh Kasperek top tournament wicket taker 20/1 Betfair sports book, EW top 4 places. Recommend EW bet.

Another wicket in her second match for Kasperek puts her on 3 with five others, all sitting behind Anam Amin's five wickets so far...

Thanks guys! A profit of £93.75 for me personally this weekend. Obviously it depends which bets you got on though.

Some worked great, some really didn't. In terms of the race, things were largely skewed by the timing of the red flag. Great race though! Smiley

Many thanks Peter, Vettel to lead after the first lap was my personal fave!
