Thinking aloud can Pavlyuchenkova really still be 100-1 for the women's title? Always been talented but mentally questionable. Just absolutely destroyed Bacsinzsky.
Mere is good on the WTA so interested in this views. Apologies if odds checker is out of date
It does seem big initially but her next three (potential) opponents would be: Coco Vandeweghe Serena Williams Agnieska Radwanska She has a losing record against all of them and then would have to beat whoever comes out of the bottom half of the draw in the final. She's nearly 3/1 against Coco which seems quite big but if they are pricing her like that then 100/1 doesn't seem that big at all. It might be more cost effective to bet her individual matches. Obviously there's no guarantee that everyone else makes it through to their designated seeding spots but Serena and Agnieska have looked comfortable so far. The draw is just particularly top-heavy at the moment. Definitely an interesting one. Basically, I don't really know and will have to think some more. Pavlyuchenkova is now best priced 81/1 with the bookies and that is only with Betfair Sportsbook. However she is available at 140 on Betfair Exchange and you will almost certainly get matched at a higher price. Another resounding win for Pavlyuchenkova against Vandeweghe today. Pavlyuchenkova was at least 4.2 for the match on Betfair before the start.

Radwanska currently in close final set with Cibulkova although she's got a match point as I type this.

Venus has to win one more game to win her quarter for us at 10-1. She'll be a heavy favourite to do so?

Murray plays Tsonga in the quarters. A preferable match up to gasquet?

I really think we should be backing Wales to turnover Portugal on Wednesday. Portugal have looked nothing special throughout this and have had 2 x 120 minutes games. Those older tired legs must be feeling it now & I think Wales are a decent price at 3/1, 16/5. Rec £50.

opinions please? "to qualify" is 6/4, which seems ok, or better? has to be a high chance of ET?

I certainly wouldn't back Portugal for this in 90 mins, but remember that Wales hardly got hold of the ball against England and we are pants. I think I would prefer Wales in 90 mins, as I don't fancy Wales in a penalty shoot out.

Why don't you fancy Wales in a penalty shootout?

Ramsey will be a massive loss to Wales. Portugal have yet to be convincing in any game but they appear to be slugging it out. Agree that they must be tired both mentally and physically. Is there a danger though that with the celebrations that the Wales lads got involved in last match that they have over boiled?
I'd prefer to take a punt on them winning in 90 minutes than to qualify if I were honest.
