Nice life being John Mac in the tennis.  You get paid a bundle to be a player's coach and during one of the biggest matches of his career you also get paid a bundle to sit in the comm box to watch it by the BBC.

Coverage

tikay is away and I am only online a bit later on today and first thing tomorrow until Sunday

not many recommendations at the moment but i am conscious it is Silverstone weekend. Sooner those tips come in the more chance i have to place them given my absences this weekend, thank you

Nice sixes bet in the Middlesex game tonight:

Coral over 9.5 evens
365 under 13 1.83

Three for the scoop! Weather's lovely.

The Somerset fans were most confused when I cheered their final six last night, after I'd been celebrating their wickets falling previously, heh. In Bristol for the Gloucester match tonight but no sixes bets I can see there - anyone else spot one give us a shout!

Good call on Raonic arbs well done.

This is the big one for fred.  We didn't get the 18/1 ew Raonic pre event but Muzza looks a shoe in here.  Berd played no one decent so far and had a dream draw and still only got here in close matches.  Might see a Muzza master class today.  Wouldn't fancy laying 3-0 Muz odds against here.

Henman has been world class today with his sly rub downs in the comm box to Hewitt and Castle.  Castle talking about the Gov of the BofE in the crowd said to Tim 'You have access to the Royal box Tim why don't you go and ask him what he plans to do with interest rates so we can get a good mortgage deal.'  Dead pan rub down from Henman back at Castle 'What's a mortgage?'   Grin  Castle stunned into silence for a couple of seconds then moves back to the play by play comm'ing!  Stick to your Claims Direct voice overs Castle to keep paying the mortgage!

Also big lol at Andrew Castle not recognising the DG of the BBC in the crowd - there's hope of him getting his P45 yet.

Castle is starting to become slightly amusing at times in a rather Zimbleresque manner.

Murray's eleventh grand slam final on Sunday. Will be the first time he goes in as favourite and the first time against a non top three seed.

not many recommendations at the moment but i am conscious it is Silverstone weekend. Sooner those tips come in the more chance i have to place them given my absences this weekend, thank you

Noted. Planning on doing the bets today, before 7PM UK time at the latest.

Here we go:

Race Winner - Nico Rosberg @ 14/5 on the exchange (11/4 elsewhere is okay too). Given that we're racing in Britain this weekend, Lewis Hamilton is rightly the favourite. However, Silverstone is actually one of Nico's strongest tracks, so he shouldn't be priced as well as 14/5 at all. Suggest £20.

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/british-grand-prix/winner

Podium Finish - Sergio Perez & Nico Hulkenberg @ 9/1 with Hills (8/1 would be okay too). The pace certainly exists for this to happen, and 8/1 is overpriced. £10 on each.

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/british-grand-prix/podium-finish

Top Six Finish - Sergio Perez (6/4 with Choral) & Nico Hulkenberg (13/8 with betfayre). Force India are having concerns over rapidly wearing tyres at the moment, so this bet winning and the podium bets losing is the most likely outcome in my view. Suggest £10 on each.

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/british-grand-prix/top-6-finish

Points Finish - Carlos Sainz (EVS with Beewin) & Romain Grosjean (11/5 with betfayre, anything 2/1+ is fine too). Sainz, EVS, really? Also, Grosjean is usually moaning about the break-by-wire system on a Friday over the radio, but today, not so much. He seems more comfortable this weekend. Suggest £25 on Sainz, £15 on Grosjean.

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/british-grand-prix/points-finish

To Reach Q3 - Carlos Sainz @ 5/4 with betfayre. Better odds to happen than a coin flip. Suggest £25.

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/british-grand-prix/to-reach-qualifying-session-three

Winning Margin - 16-20.999 Seconds @ 10/1 with Beewin. Mercedes have such a big advantage this weekend, should one of their cars fail to finish, the winning margin will be large. I feel that this is more likely to happen than 10/1, suggest £10.

Castle is starting to become slightly amusing at times in a rather Zimbleresque manner.

Castle and Gary Richardson afterwards doing the interview with the most stupid pointless questions Murray (or anyone else) never has any interest in answering and no one wants to listen to the answers to.  P45's for both of them would be ideal.

Why didn't Andy just say there to his last stupid question 'what will do you when you get home late tonight after all your media stuff?' 'Well i will take Kim upstairs and give her a right good seeing to!' or 'What are you planning to do after work tonight Gary?'  fuck off Richardson you bore.

Peter

before i place those bets

we don't want some exposure to red bull?

v good in the high downforce corners because of the chassis, decent pace and very good on tyre life (verstappen especially)...might one stop?

must have a shot at top 3?

maybe there is nothing to go at in any prices?
