Dhawan out for 46, puts him safely back in lead. If India go through Sharma is the last real threat.

Dhawan 13 runs in front of Sharma going into the final. Ali from Pakisatan about 150 behind so should be out of contention.

Any value in saver bet on Sharma? Dhawan win: £412.5 profit. Dhawan place, £72.50 profit.

Thoughts?

Kohli is 64 back of dhawan

Cheers, think I'll look at tying down more (I've the same bet as Fred), but will leave it to Tighty or TK to think if they want to let it ride or play safer.

1.2 mill traded as people jockey for position. The KO has shortened aswell. By comparison Saturday's clash of 2 legit p4p boxers has done 20k.

Westwood (vs Fisher and Mcdowell) at 15/8?

HE should in theory be more suited to this course than these guys?

Thoughts?

Nice one Dave.

The days of me trusting Lee with a single penny of my money though, have long since passed.

I cant see how mayweather knocks connor out, connor is much bigger and floyd has well documented problems with his hands that i am gonna assume will not have healed with age....  Personally I would go lumpy on mayweather decision with a small saver on connor KO.

The undercard for the cross-sport dual between Floyd Mayweather Jnr and Connor McGregor has been announced, with the Sri Lankan cricket team set to face five-time World Snooker Champion, Ronnie O’Sullivan.

What they will face each other in has yet to be announced, with the only clues being given that it will be played out of “best of 5” sets.

O’Sullivan, the bookies early favourite has been quoted as saying “It’s going to be the biggest sporting event of all time and I’m delighted to be part of it.

“I play with balls and a stick, and so do they, so the differences between our disciplines are only very small, to be honest.”

With a few months to go until the fight, rumours of other hybrid events have already taken over, with Paula Radcliffe calling out Rory McIlroy on Twitter.

Who will win? Certainly only us as spectators.

This deserves recognition  thumbs up

Some big prices currently on Ladies Wimbledon on Oonibet/aitaitait particularly considering several of the players at the top of the market have big doubts. Have to back win only as they do not do each way. Small stakes but you will probably be limited anyway.

https://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/womens/womens-wimbledon-2017/winner

My pick would be
Barbora Strycova 150-1
42-26 career record on grass. (2016 6-2, 2015 3-3, 2014 9-3) Birmingham finalist in 2014 and 2016. Currently ranked 20th in the world. Doesnt seem priced up anywhere else. Playing two grass tournies in the next two weeks. Not had a big break out this year like others such as Ostrapenko, Mladenovic so is somewhat under the radar as reflected in odds which I think are far too long.

Others to consider for those who like a long priced banzai. All these have a lot more doubts for me than Stykova
Alison Riske 700-1. Surely way too long if she can find some form. Big question I guess. Plays well on grass imo, 47-23 lifetime. Nottingham finalist last year. Does not seem listed elsewhere so no other books to compare to.
Kristyna Pliskova 300-1 Not performed too well on grass in the past but has the skills to suit the surface. Big serve. Improving but inconsistent. Best price 80s elsewhere, originally priced up at 500s but in to 300s
Lucie Safarova 300-1 certainly on the decline in recent times but reached Wimbledon last 16 three years running with SF in 2014. Best priced 75s elsewhere

Watching brief
Tsvetana Pironkova 300-1 Former Wimbledon QF and SF. Declined in rankings in recent times, so much so that she may have to qualify. Done very well so far in Nottingham but not had a quality opponent as yet.

Pironkova and Safarova play today which could be a good indicator. Safarova a slight favourite but priced at virtually a flip.

Guys. I'm posting on my phone at the moment as I'm travelling so sorry for not writing more about each bet. The Muller Seppi match went as I thought it might. Very tight and serve orientated. From memory I think  Muller won 1/5 breaks, seppi 0/3. Could have gone either way or to three sets at least.

Didn't follow the Zverev v mannarino game but I suspect the boy Zverev was a bit too good on this occasion. The hold/break data just isnt there on grass for Zverev and he lacks experience on the surface, but I'm willing to concede that perhaps he is improving so fast that he is ahead of his data curve (so to speak) so perhaps I need to start giving him more respect.

Would love other people to post their thoughts on tennis too. Glad to see hector back in the tennis fold.

Wouldn't apologise, at all. Think it's pretty well known that you research all your bets thoroughly.

I know as much about tennis, as I do about running marathons, but I still like punting Grin

This, really enjoy it when we get an input on a wide range of sports and others betting subjects. On that front the thread is a poorer place for not having Tal around, hope hes well.

Could not agree more. Sod's Law says we tend to lose the good ones.

He's fine & dandy, we exchange e-Mails several times per week, & he arrives here in Vegas tomorrow or Sunday, so I'll hook up with him no doubt.

I'll certainly pass on your kind comments. I can't really apply pressure on him to return to blonde, as he is a close friend, so that'd be a bit out of order. He is just spinning too many plates right now, that's the top & bottom of it.

I'm optimistic he'll be back before the NFL season starts.

In the rugby league today anything over 2-1 for Farrell to score a try for Wigan is a decent bet. Currently ladbrokes, coral and pp are all bigger than that price.
