Frankie still gets there if he wins the Wokingham and Thomas Hobson fails to win the last.

No objections to banging in a £10 cover bet on Undrafted at around 25 on the exchanges if you're feeling nitty.

He never won the Wokingham, & does not appear to have a ride in the last, whilst Ryan is on the jolly.

Are we home & hosed?

Pretty amazing that apart from the Ryan Moore bet(N1 Chompy) not one horse tip was posted on TfT for the entire five days of Royal Ascot*.

Up until last year we had a RA tipping competition with 20+ entrants and mutiple horses advised for each of the five days.

I’m not sure we have many good judges of a horse race these days. Horsey and Chompy aside. There also seems to be plenty of bickering and squabbling* atm which is always correlated with not many tips going up. On a happier note the Vegas threads, especially the mixed games for Stu have been excellent and maybe a distraction.

*people being kinda marginalised for criticising racism etc

Excellent rubs.

Personally in Vegas then screwed up sleep has done for Ascot for me.   I did have a look at the Wokinham and tried to get a price on bf.  Given only £2.18 was laid, then I couldn't put it up (was 90 on Foolaad FWIW).

Not sure racism can have much to do with it, as I can't remember much racism on this thread.

I've only got one bet to suggest ahead of the French GP;

Race Winner - Valtteri Bottas @ 7/1 with Betfair. Quite simply, I just feel like this price is out of line - Betfair are the only bookie priced as high as 7/1. It is worth noting that there is a 40% chance of thunderstorms hitting the track during the race, and last week Valtteri Bottas actually did a wet tyre development test for Pirelli on this very circuit. In theory, that should mean he's stronger than the other drivers out there. In theory. Suggest £25 EW 1/3 1-2.

Will they even let Bottas win. Chance of a switcheroo near the end for the championship points now it’s a 2 horse race already?

Possible, but very very unlikely at this stage. It's only race 8/21. The general consensus is that it's currently a four horse race including Valtteri and Daniel.

Also worth noting that the Bottas bet was EW. Profit made for second place.

I used to like EW shots in the big handicaps with 6 places 1/4 odds, but those offers have evaporated, so not worth the effort.

Place terms are probably decent, but betfair exchange is a better win price.   I do worry about Bottas giving way, but that us surely in the price.    Nico would be 3/1 here, so suspect Bottas is underated.   It all seems odd to me as Bottas could be leading the championship with a bit of luck.

Any love for Senegal at 11/8? Fancy them to be too physical for the Japanese.
