When Southampton scored in the 93rd minute v Spurs last night at a half-empty Wembley Stadium, it completed a remarkable stat - a full round of Premier League fixtures, over 2 days (Tuesday & Wednesday) when both teams scored.

BTTS backers must be loving life right now.

When was the last time BTTS happened in a full round of Premier League games, anyone know? Must be fairly unusual.

Sept 2010

the BTTS acca paid 444/1 with Bet365

8 years? Blimey.

Is there evidence of a lot more goals per game in the EPL this season, or is it just my imagination?

Yup, took him 8 years, but he got there.

Really miss him, what a great bloke.

93rd (Southampton) and 95th (Cardiff) minute goals got it over the line, certainly fortune was shining on anyone who got on it as they were both very much consolation goals.

Just before Xmas too, WAL

SPOTY preview up.

Headline tip is Dina Asher-Smith at 16-1 EW with Lads, Coral, BFSB, PP who are a fifth three spots in what's basically a six-runner race. It's a million she doesn't make the shortlist.

Also Tyson Fury at 7-1+, and Lizzie Yarnold @ 50-1 EW a third two spots to take a few quid out of Denise's 2020 eight-figure paypacket.

Can't understand why you think Dina Asher-Smith gets few votes.  I was surprised to see she was 20/1 on betfair.   She is as fast as any woman in the World right now, is always smiling and bound to get ramped on the BBC.   Would take her in a match bet vs any boxer.

9 figure, unless she is facing a big drop in wages?

Good point.

Can't build houses like this on eight figures.

I'm a big admirer of Denise, & I don't have any problem with her pay packet, but jeez, as houses go, not sure I ever saw an uglier one.

She has come flying in from 20/1 to 22/1.  The Tyson Fury story has cetainly kiboshed it a bit.

Did we ever get on Fury or Asher-Smith?  If not coral still have the 16/1 e/w available.  PP are now 11/1.  I didn't try Ladbrokes.

The Tyson Fury each way is better on betfair, as his top 3 price is about 5/2 there.

I still think she is a cracking bet.

The exuberance she showed after each race is exactly the sort of beguiling factor that will grab the audience on the night.

I wish I had done the 20-1/50-1 RFC at the time.
