I still have been unable to pause mine Sad

Have you watched any of the e grand prix Peter?  I came across the "Australian" one on youtube earlier.  Lando Norris was in as was Stoffel Vandoorne.

Sounds like they are trying to get more drivers involved.  I can see people watching if starved of sport, though not sure having a few randoms at the front and real F1 drivers at the back is a great look.

I read they are going to split it and have one race for real drivers and one race for the e drivers. Hey I might watch it. Russian and Turkish football just isn't doing it for me!

On what I saw spliting the drivers is definitely the way forward if they can get enough famous drivers.   I read something where Verstappen had declined, as he didn't know the game and only wanted to be in it to win.   Surely nobody watching is going to be thinking that he is a crap driver because he can't do well at some game he has just picked up?  If his aim was to not look bad, he may have failed though.

I haven't watched any of the Virtual Grand Prix's, only the highlights. I've played F1 games extensively - with some of the F1/former F1 drivers too, and while it's great fun, I don't really understand it as an "esport" competition. The majority of the time, the "sim racers" beat the professional drivers. Surely that demonstrates that the technology is not yet realistic enough?

Surely we need a bet on the continuing Belarus Premier League, just to show our all round sports betting ability?  Cheesy

Fair to assume Tiger Roll won't be completing the hat-trick then. Probably finishes a gallant second to a 50-1 shot. Not many will back him each-way at that price. Complete skinner for the bookies and plenty of ££££, to add to last week's wonderful round of appluase, for the NHS.

What if I told you that there is a race happening today where there have been 10 races already this season. The guy who has won 6 out of 10 so far is odds on. But a guy who has won 3 out of ten is 20/1.

I have been getting into the old virtual racing. Got to be some value in opposing Max Verstappen here who is odds on. Yes he has won 6 out of the ten races so far in the series. But in the second race on Wednesday he disconnected and didn't even take part. Also we won't know the car and track until just before and there are certain types of car that Max doesn't have experience in. Some of the rags have no chance as they are way off pace and there is often a crash taking people out so that is a randomizer, so I think 3rd to 10th or so in the market offer good value. The each way terms are pretty bad 1/5 top 3. So we are looking to bet win only.

Lando is very consistent but his price is surely short enough with his name value.

Some of the racers aren't listed on oddschecker and I like Kelvin Ven der Linde at 20s with 356 or betweigh. He has won three out of the ten races so far and he always seems to be up in the top 5/10 places. Yes Max is clearly a bit quicker in most cars but somehow Van der Linde is out at 20-1 with Max odds on.

Crucially you don't always know who will take part each night and he always seems to show up.

I guess you are out of luck. But i believe he has done every race so far and there is a 'Championship' where he is chasing Max, so I am sure he wants to win that.

Am I going blind here because I can't see a Van der Linde listed in that market.

EDIT: - It's just that I can't read - he's not listed on Oddschecker, as you said, but is on the bookie's site.

Make sure you get the right Van Der Linde!
