All sorts of carnage on the Best ESC song thingy last night.
Abba 1-2 going in. Loreen done for thousands at sub 1.2 on the machine before the result was given. Somebody obviously thought they knew the result of the vote.
Think they may well have done too. When Norton gave the winner as Abba is felt almost like it had been pre-recorded.

Iceland was drifting like a barge when they abandoned it. Not a great song and I couldn't have had it in a strong year. It was social media buzz entry though. All the once-a-year geniuses latched on to it and declared it the moral victor.
Azerbaijan are always the last to confirm their song and it timbered big time once confirmed. Almost 100 down to 16ish. Would have gone well. Italy and Switzerland were my two main bets. Gjon's Tears wins it next year. It was all about him rather than the song. They'll find better in 2021 for him to bang out hopefully.
Graham Norton needs to pay more attention to the market. He dismissed the favourites out of hand and seemed to think Iceland and Russia were the two jollies.

Yep, don't know how they give the gig to Norton when he doesn't have much market insight.

This Gjasula character for Paderborn absolutely loves a booking. 14 in 24. Simple maths would suggest 11/8 is decent right?

No idea on this specifically, but is there a possibility of bookings reducing with potentially less pressure on refs (no fans)?
