Rob Yong has just announced that DTD is staying open 24 hours due to the weather, free breakfast for anyone that stays or has to stay in the club overnight

Table break have produced an interesting spot for Luke Fields, directly out of position to Ali Mallu, Stephen Lovatt and Anthony Nicholls

All four have 100k plus



In the hand I watched Lovatt raised to 4,000 UTG

Fields called in the small blind

Mallu called in the big blind

A flop of  is checked round

Mallu check calls 8,000 on the  turn from Lovatt

check check on the  river

Mallu  beats Lovatt

Just spoke to Ganesh Jayaraman, I don't think I've spoke to a happier man since Wan who won the Monte Carlo Event.
He said "could you please write this hand down, I got Quads!"
From the CO with   Ganesh makes it 3,200, Jamil Ogunmakinwa calls as does Chris Gill (no relation to myself).
Flop -   Two Diamonds
All players check
Turn -  
Gill bets 5,200, Ganesh calls, Jamil shoves for 20k. Gill calls, Ganesh reshoves, Gill folds.
Jamil -   , Ganesh with the turned set
River -  
Bink! Ganesh now on 130k.

Fields bets 5,500, Lovatt shoves for 40k. Fields makes the call.

Lovatt - .
Turn is a brutal , river a blank.
Fields starts giggling and says "that's an even worse beat!" counting his chips whilst giggling.

Lovatt was shortish after losing with nut flush vs a boat to Ali Mallu.
Mallu now on about 240k, he told me "I'm due after the Monte Carlo. This time".
Mallu famous for building a huge stack on Day 1, then losing it early on Day 2.
