We give so many soft goals away. Wenger should use his friendship with Fergie to see if he can snap Vidic up sometime before the day is out.
wut?
How can you let Nirvana whoosh you
Too obv.
Who could Arsenal attract that's half as good a manager as Wenger ?

Not sure why people still think Wenger is so good?
For years he stuck to his principle in the Capital One Cup by playing 2nd elevens, sometimes despite the fans begging him to play full teams, but he stuck to his guns, and fair play, we won stuff with that approach, but as he has felt under pressure to win something(let us not forget this great manager hasnt won anything for 8 years with one of the countries top 4 sides), he even ditched those principles and played first teams that got beat.
He manages one of the wealthiest clubs about, and even when the Chairman tells fans he has money to spend, Wenger then doesnt, when the team patently needs strengthening, mainly due to half a dozen or so bad signings(he made) and keeping on playing players that aren't up to the job.
Forget the other 30 mins I could waffle on for, and yes I cant see why we would want to swap him.....

Nacho anyone?
To elaborate somewhat, if we really are in for Nacho Monreal for ~€10M it would seem that they are seriously worried that Gibbs' injury might well keep him out ror longer than the three weeks suggested yesterday notwithstanding Santos' complete unreliability defensively.
I didn't like the way he went down clutching what appeared to me to be his hip rather than his thigh with noone near him given his proneness for getting injured.
Mind you any kind of signing would be welcome especially if he's decent.

Nacho anyone?
He's the Spanish backup for Alba. Shame, as I quite enjoyed watching Santos.

There is no doubt we could be in a far worse position Ralph, for sure, however Wenger has now run out of reasons for our on the field performances. The team that won had some residual non Wenger picks, everything his manages/chooses/transfers....loses is his own doing/creation. No one elses. Just his, and for eight years he aint cut the mustard.
Being happy with getting 4th isnt acceptable for the 4th/5th richest club in the world.
As I wrote elsewhere, everything has a sell by date. Wenger is now green and covered in mould....

Has he finally lost the plot?
Wenger believes Arsenal can still come second...

They've got by far the best run in. Had city drawn yesterday, it was quite possible. Now less so, but if they beat us (*shudder*), it is horribly close between the the London clubs. Citeh should have enough to hold on to second now tho.

Just seen announced half yearly profits of £17mill
cash reserves increased by £7m to £120 odd mill
Income from sale of players exceeded spending on new player by £40 mill
Still waiting on £33mill from various signings
The last one really grates when Arsene sells our best player and doesn't get alll the money up from from another rich club. Same with Nasri apparently.
Fergie totally owns Wenger.
Disgraceful again.

I thought all the money up front was pretty rare on larger transfers. I'm never believing hundreds of millions are shipped around between prem clubs every January.

I thought payment in parts was pretty standard these days?
Technically we can finish second but I'd settle for fourth at the moment. Wenger has always been overly optimistic at this stage of the season when there's little left to pay for, he does it every year.

They are to the poor clubs, but out of principle you make red nose pay up front
