Give the dtd deepstack field whatever structure you want, 1 quadrillion chips, 4day clock, it'll still be a crapshoot by the end
+2
+3, I was speaking to Simon the other day who said he spent a week observing the players, to see how he could improve the structure for players, so they weren't left with an average of 10 big blinds at every final table.
He said what he found was exactly what Andy said, that players don't seem to change their game much with the field getting blinded away.

Does the £150 side event go to 50 Bigs average when they get to the final table too?

correct, it changed a couple of years ago
We are thinking about making the updates members only.
Good Idea. Why don't you make it that you have to slept with yourself and wore a blonde condom to access the site. Its not like your already trying to alienate people
Pardon? Who is trying to alienate anybody?
Can you post Gentings / Gala's / G's games or Info about them ?
I see, no we can't. But that's understandable given the support DTD are giving. It is not the intention or I think the result that it alienates people from being part of the community
Anyway, happy to discuss that on a thread away from the update if you like James.
Fair enough, but why you would want to limit non members baffles me as a business decision. Now you are a closed shop with a reduced market potential it would make sense to welcome all visitor's, members or not

I'm pretty sure it doesn't and is saved or the 500 Deepstack, possibly even other events that will be streamed live

I said it is being considered, that's all. To your other point, In a poker recession (Stars, DTD and a few others aside...) certainty of income far outweighs "reduced marked potential"

It makes people sign up and given they wanna use a feature of the site, they will always sign up. This is the most obvious thing in the world from a business prospective. What on earth are you going on about Jambo?

At the end of the day I appreciate you have to look after yourself in the current climate. I don't have to agree with it.

On my table Wilcock limps the small blind into Parks and leads on a J-8-4 flop to take it down
Next hand East shoves, Parkes a long dwell in the small blind but folds
