I'll be their Friday! Can't wait to spin it up. Just don't get enough live pokers any more. Really could do with converting this Golden Chip. The Caribbean is too good to miss!

Hi All

Just finished Day 1a of the €100,000 Grand Prix.

We had a total of 534 entries, after 15 levels 88 remain with an average stack of 91,000.

There were 190 Golden Chips in play today, tomorrow i will let you know how many are left, should any go on to make the final they will win a £6000 package to the Carribean Poker Party.

Friday is looking like a sell out at 405 whereas tomorrow there are just 120 registered so far. All this week the day 1's will start at 5pm ending at 1.45am. You are allowed 1 re entry during the first 9 levels and today a third of the 400 players took this option.

Cheers ACES

Been in and played today, one bullet.

Quite enjoyed myself even if the long re-entry period pissed me off and busted with 1 hour to go.

Gonna have another crack in the week on one of the quieter nights.

The only difference between praying in a Church and praying at the poker table is that when you pray at the poker table you really mean it.

Lol. My comp was flying playing great chipping up nicely managing to get off hands that would have meant an early bath for mere mortals. Folding queens pre knowing I was at least 3rd out of 4. Turns out I was equal 3rd as two of us had queens and the others had AA and KK.

Then I flop a set of tens on Q 10 3 board and the station check calls flop and  X turn and trap checks the   river. So obvious he got there  I tell him he should have bet with KJ and flipped my tens over. He won a decent pot but was pretty tilted by me. He lost all his stack to me an orbit later when he 4 bet jammed this flop   with   . Easiest call I will ever make holding Alister James    .

I was on form and focused until the last level when losing a race in a triple average pot. Bit like the ukipt I am the aggressor in the pot and getting people calling off at best racing and a high %age in a world of pain to a bigger pair. Twice this week I am left regretting letting lesser players have the luxury of a 50/50 with me when I could have out played them post flop. But that's my bad so good luck to them and I will use another chip when the wife says I can Smiley
