Thanks Guys..

Smashedegain  - Such a great picture, Alister and the Twins look like they're having whale of a time. Best for Thomasland ever.. Makes me want to take Amar'e

Leethefish - The changes in the world will be immense, remember in 1999 things like social networking hadn't even been heard of, household names such as Facebook, Groupon and Twitter hadn't even been imagined.. Companies & Currencies that are part of our daily lives like the Euro, Google and Family guy (love the show) had just been introduced..

While China were trying to restrict the internet access, North Korea was taking away freedom of speech.. Tyrants such as Saddam, Gadhafi and Kim Jong were leading their countries with iron fists while pillaging everything they could.

If the last 13 years are anything to go by 2025 will be an interesting time to be alive...

The hair dresser charges by the inch so can't afford one lol. Jakey's actually started curling in ringlets at the side like those young Jewish lads have.

Meant to ask you. Do lads you sons age have to stop on at school until 18 if they don't have a job. I thought I heard somewhere that the leaving age is going up from 16

I would love to share a table with bang bang. Spending a few just chatting about the good Old days

I'm taking my 4 year old boy to the Sheff Utd v Huddersfield play off final next week. Somewhere deep inside I am looking forward more to him experiencing something that might not happen again for many a year and having a dad and son moment he remembers forever.

Parents evening for my son this Wednesday, I'll remain optimistic until then, where I hope to also be a proud Dad!  dont river me

Of course messing around, and only today while he was getting appointment for the day, he was told by his English Teacher, that he was a "talented boy and been spotted for his future potential in the subject".  That he was a very polite young man too.

Not to be out done, my 7 year old daughter got told on Saturday that she will be moved up a group in her tennis lessons! downer is that the high gropu starts at 9am!

Proud Dads - great thread.

Parents evening was just perfect!

A bit chatty sometimes was the general feel across the subjects but minor point.

English- always been a passion of his, and quite natural to him. He is in year 7 and we got told today that he is it GCSe grade B already!

Very proud Dad
