Sorry for the late TR but just been soooo busy after busting the £150!

888Superstack event  26/5  Mint Casino Cromwell Road, London
20k ss  30 mins clock

We played day1b and the prizepool was approx £22k but they miss a level or two along the way so it gets a bit crappy from 3/600 but unfortunately we never got started in this event.

I was on a table of unknowns who were very limp happy and in level 1 we pick up  in the sb and after a raise and a flat we make up in the sb and see a  two hearts and elect to cc the cbet from the or to see the  where the action goes cc on the  we lead for 1/2pot and get a call but showdown the winner and were above s/stack, the next hand we 3b the same villain with  otb but fold to his 4b and were off to level 2.

Level 2 sees us again find 10's in the blinds and after a limp utg and utg2 a young kid in mp makes it 600 to which we flat as does utg2 and we see a flop of  which gets checked around and a  rolls off on the turn, we check again with the intention of check calling 1 street but after a weak looking lead of 400 by the utg2 the or 3b's to 1200 and we get out of the way to see a  river which both check and the utg2 wins with  vs  in a pot that coould have been a lot bigger and we are back to s/stack of 20k at the start of level3.

Level 3 starts with a hand i should fold pre maybe, after it's folded to me in mp i open to 500 with  which gets called in just the 3 spots and I continue the lead with a cbet of 1175 on the  flop which the Co virtually min raises to 2500 which we now flat but cf on the bricktastic  Two Diamonds and with no other hands of note in level 3 were off to the break with 16500 coming back at 150/300.

I spent the break chatting to Dan Edler who apart from Sam Holden (obv playing for 888) was the only other player i recognised.

Level 4 bought no joy with me raise folding twice to the tightest players on the table who had awkward stack sizes and led us into level 5 where we exited at 2/400/50 when after not playing a hand of note thought I had earned myself a bit of "Vagrancy Vig" so after opening to 950 with  get flatted by a loose (in the card sense) lady in the co and the btn who was decent but a bit squeezy made it 2350 otb, I elected to 4b to 5400 as this was my first4b vs the villain with a plan to fold if he 5b's or try and tid on the flop and after a short while he flatted and with 12k back we needed to flop well which came  Two Diamonds and after i led for 1/2 pot was never folding with him setting me all-in and after 2 bricks on the turn and river losing to  it was back on the train to Southend.

So this weekend sees us at DTD where we will be playing Saturday in the £500 and if we dont make day2 will have 1 shot at the WSOP satty which will leave us either another £500 event or 3 bullets at a £150 DTD event in June/July.
