The thing that annoys me about this is that I need to top up at the weekend because I'm nearly empty.

I'll just put my usual £60 in which does me for a couple of weeks. No panic here you see.

The problem is that now it's sunny my grass has got a lot longer and needs a cut. This means I need to fill my little green plastic container thing up.

People are going to think I'm a panic buyer because I'm filling up a green container!! Bastards!!! I'm not in a panic!! I'm not joining the fucking idiots who fill containers up because they think it's all going to run out!! I just need some petrol for my mower!!

/rant.

thin

Very thin.

£60 last me 2 days Sad

Fking joke. Watched Newsnight last night and inevitable the idiots would be out panic buying today.

£60 fine and 3pts on licence for anyone in a petrol queue with more than half a tank. Yep.

I really do feel like just nameing and shameing turn up at the petrol station and hunt down the sterotypical panic buyers (the same ones that you see buying 3 loaves of bread whenever there is a small chance the supermarket may be short!!!)#

and ask them politly i they mind me having a look at their petrol gauge. and anyone were it is more than half full will get a nice big a4 picture of themseleves waiting for them at the pump with MORON across their foreheads Smiley

How do news reporters know the difference between panic buyers and those who need to fill their cars because they have no petrol?

No queues in Darlington btw. We don't believe the Tory scaremongers up here.

The truth is, probably virtually none of the queuers are "panic buyers".

Just anyone who is going to need petrol over the next two or three days is buying it today, because of that dickhead Cameron has told them to.

Whoops. I was down to a quarter of a tank, so I filled up last night.

Presumably, according to this thread, & as I'm over 50, I've suddenly become an idiot & a "moron". But I plead not guilty to the weekly shop.
