Last weekend's event attracted 372 entries, won by David Trigg for over £14,000

Rob Yong spoke of the £150 as follows

"I have to say this is the best weekly tourney we have every done in terms of format, obviously not in terms of prizepools, when were were down to 9 players the average was 45BB, and 30,000 enuf chips at the start to make a few mistakes. I love the 30/40 clock format, definitely an advantage to the better players, if I get back from UKIPT Dublin I think I'll play this £150 at the weekend to try the format myself. Obviously we won't win the prize for originality by using the WSOP main event blinds and ante structure, but at £150 (or £135 + £15), best comp we have ever done IMO"

Of course there are competing attractions this weekend, from UKIPT to SCOOP to the Champions League final. Hopefully numbers will hold up and we'll have another corking event

Please join me from 7pm tonight.

I don't usually play Friday but I have something to do tomorrow.

So, who else is going tonight, and are you any good?

If yes, please don't bust me. Thanks.

George Bedi, eschewing the delights of Dublin for a tilt at a quickfire DTD double. If he wakes up
