So Lonely by The Police now. White reggae. Before Sting became a tosser.

As no one is reading, I will admit to buying the 7 inch single of De Doo doo doo, de da da da by The Police once

Ahhhh one of my fav songs ever by The Police, pre-sting tosser days obv, was The Bed's to Big Without You. Bass to die for....

sorry for derailment.

Paul Grummitt knocks out Pete Evans

Grummitt Jacks versus Ace-King suited

Jacks hold on 5-6-7-8-6

From across the table comes a plaintive cry

"oh no, I would have hit a full house"

Not a great fan of those sort pf exclamations personally. There's a reason why you don't play 5-6 to a raise and a 3 bet shove sir.

Ian Gascoigne shoves 50,000 with A-J

Mark Robert calls all in with A-7 in the small blind

Joseph Cockburn wakes up with J-J in the big blind, calls all in too

120,000 main pot, scooped by Jacks

Gascoigne short, open shoves 10-9 next hand, reshoved by Babak Naini with A-Qss

5-3-8-7-6 and Gascoigne doubles back up with a clench of the fist and a David Hirst like pout

Still 31 left with a few minutes to go

Unusual, no flurry of late exits

Paul Grummitt has 300,000 and is certainly top 3 in chips. He just shoved over a Jamie Moult lateposition raise, eliciting a fold showing the Ace of Spades

Umar Khan just shoved a flop of  as the pre-flop raiser against Wadey's big blind. Wadey think-folds and is shown "my favourite hand"

How many of these can you recognise? Ever wonder that when you walk past to the smoking area?

There are 35 caricatures, reckon I can get 24 with confidence. Not too impressive

To the accompaniment of Rip it Up, by Orange Juice, belting out across the club

Ryan Stockham button raises to 5,000 playing 80,000

Babak Naini 3 bets the small blind to 15,000 playing 60,000

Stockham shoves

Naini calls

Stockham

Naini?

flop    two hearts

turn

I've seen happier people than Stockham, to be frank

Naini doubles up

Rip it up and start again.....

You're not wrong on that one
