Have you fished out Frankie's golden chip yet Caroline?

It's a dirrrty job but someone had to do it, or - if you want a job doing well, ask a woman.

No woman available, so the task fell to me.

Chip now been dusted off and fumigated and is on display.
As him why he is called Frankie and not Chin?

What's easier for u?

OldGit is Bruce Ewan.

Bruce says he has been taken out of the last two tournaments here by Greek Jack.

Two minutes later Bruce is moved to Greek Jack's table.

Hmm.

On about 1.2M now.

Haven't heard much of the online chip daddy Paul Brown? Still a big stack?

Well yesterday he literally didnt play a hand for about 5 levels, then when he did he would limp in and check call. That's not a criticism of his play by the way, merely an observation. I think he didngt want  to dent his stack too much and just cruise through to today.

He took a couple of hits but is still patiently waitiing for premium hands.

To get so many chips online I'm having to assume he must have been running like God in the weeks previous online qualifiers, or there is the possibility admin messed up and sent the qualifiying email to Paul in error?!

He just isn't getting involved now. I spoke to him earlier when Tan Lee was chip leader and Paul said it was irrelevant at this stage who had all the chips, as long as he had them all in the last hand...

I actually think this is where his investment is working against him. He has to make final table to recoup the money he spent he needs prob 5th at least to pay off the effort.

So maybe he is playing a bit scared (wierd thought process I know).

Is that tournament entries or net investment?

to be fair i had him on my table and he seemed extremely pleasant, he made it quite clear he enjoyed playing online and trying to build his stack up and was trying a few lives again these days.He was happy to chat away and although he never said as much i got the impression money was not necessarily an issue for him he was just doing something he enjoyed.

good luck to him

Found a few guys who started pretty short yesterday.

Willis Marrow (still working up the bottle to have some fun with this name) started on 33K, now on 300K.

Mike Lowe came in with 43K and is on average with 600K.

Ryan Pearson started with 35K and is on about 500K.

Definitely rooting for these three, they've not been involved in many monster pots or been gifted chips, simply grinding their way forward.

You're not kidding. He was the only one not refused entry into the aforementioned 'titty bar'. We then went to Alea where he gave a first class demonstration of money to money playing casino brag. I cut short his fun by being ejected from the casino. Hahaha

3 to a flop, 80k in the middle it comes

Mills bets 75k, Burghardt folds
Tan Luan Le to 200k, Mills to 500k, Le shoves for a 664k total, Mills has to call off

Mills -  three diamonds
Le -

"Pair up!" Shouts Le

, does the trick for Mr Le
Mills still in but short, Le on 1.4mil
