If Kenneth Stokes wins he's going on a open top bus tour around Nottingham. Will confirm locations and times later. Expect the streets to be busier than when the Olympic torch visits.

On a flop of

As

Ross Patman bets 60K.

Patrick Simcoe goes all in for 507K.

Ryan Pearson thinks for a while and then says all in, got the previous all in covered 2:1 in chips.

Patman doesn't even stop to think and folds.

Ryan has A4 for two pairs, Simcoe is behind with A9 for top pair only.

The turn is a queen.. and so is the river, killing Ryan's flopped two pair and giving Simcoe the upper hand in every way.

Ryan is Rhino on Blonde, unlucky mate.

Pearson then gets it in with   against a button raise
Oli Allan on the button finds
is the 2nd card out, eliminating Pearson
This takes us down to 24, getting ever closer to the bubble

Bruce old git Ewan is another true gent and I think was coming into this as one of the top 3 chip leaders. Really suprised me as I expected all the chip leaders to look more like Dave Nicholson and Dan Morgan. Instead they look more like Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.  This seems to have been a great comp played in a great atmosphere.

couldn't be any more spot on
Plenty of friendly banter around all the tables, not just one or two
Plenty of players who busted today and yesterday gave great feedback, saying they would love to play this again some time soon

Massive + 1 - I will be playing this next time. I think maybe some people didn't get the concept or were scared of something new, but I reckon the next one will be massive.

Anyway. I think it comes down to why you play the game. For me the game will always be like a good night out at a restaurant. Some nights I might spend a few quid at Domino's. Some nights I spend a few hundred quid somewhere nice.

As for Paul Brown. His money, his life, his chips, his choice. I hope he wins it because it will irritate all those who think the only reason to play is to maximise a return. Maybe he just wanted to arrive as chipleader and has a suitable bankroll.

The return on the meals the following day was exactly the same.

Awesome. I love seeing you playing poker. Your game must of improved as you are talking about using your big stack and discussing Lynn Beaumont's range earlier. By the way chuck this is not her range

How do you know what Paul has spent?Huh??

It was posted somewhere on yesterday's thread as far as I recall. Plujs I wouldnt think it too hard to work out if you know how many games he played and how much the entry was.

I was on his table yesterday from the beginning and he was very nice guy. At first I was abit wery if him as he worked the room and I thought oh the guy thinks he's awesome but ten quickly realised he had been playing so many sngs he must have chatted alot to alot of the people ad he was just interested who was who and he said he was really enjoying playing live again. He made alot of good laydowns against me when in theory he should be doubling me up as I only started with 20k however he played his 680k like he had 20k tough to get chips off.

I guess now the blinds are catching up with him and he needs to adjust but very best of luck to him, very nice guy and hope he gets 2nd behind the CHIPPYMAN!!!! Goooo Franky!

Oh and for the record, he thinks he spent about £1460 on the comp but he played a few MTTs with his initial depost and won abit so he says in reality he's only in for just over £200.
