Moyles in the morning is good, gets him out of the way and wakes you up. Well, its comedy dave I like really. His tedious links are class.
But now they've got that northern irish geezer... Colin 'I used to be a
but now I'm Jesse Mays bestest pal' Murray.
To be honest i stopped listening to radio one since Mark & Lard left.
MUST GRRRRRRUMBLE!!!

The final minutes of Mark and Lard on Radio 1:
BBC Radio 1, 2004|03|26, 3:08pm
(Kiss - Crazy Crazy Nights fades out)
FX DOOR CREAK
(sound of Lard mumbling very quietly to himself)
FX DOOR CREAK
MARK: Oi.
LARD: What?
MARK: 'S great that, wasn't it, Kiss, Crazy Crazy Nights.
LARD: (vaguely) Great, yeah, that, yeah, 's great, yeah.
MARK: What you doing in here on your own, though, Lard? the party's starting.
LARD: Well, you know, s-spent a lot of time in here, mate, I'm just, having a last look round, you know.
MARK: Yeah? I know what you mean, but...
LARD: What?
MARK: Let's not torture ourselves. Let's go to the pub and you can buy me a pint.
LARD: Yeah. (cheering up) All right, mate, yeah. One last catchphrase?
MARK: ...A swift half a catchphrase.
LARD: Okay.
PAUSE
LARD: STOP!
FX DOOR SLAM
BBC Radio 1 jingle: "One... one... one... one... one... one... one... one... one... one... one..."

Never read it as i knew it wouldnt interest me plus it moves to quickly. If people are taking the mick out of themselves, fair game, but sometimes people take things out of context even if people are just jessing around with em.

There are very few people I wish a horrible painful death to, but he is one of them.

Just wanna say good post Tank. I haven't posted on there in a while as I open the thread, read the content, and then think "nah that's not for me". I don't have anything against those who do post on it but I don't wanna be seen to be part of it so I'm happy to leave those who do post on it to it.
If it did ever revert back to what it was I'd enjoy posting on it again.

and that is a good reply, it echoes my views
we are not about to censor the thread or change anything that is already there but I personally would rather the thread got back to what it was about if people want to carry it on....

Going back to the original post i agree, when Sarah London joined the forum all i could think was "what a depressing site" all blokes being leary over a few pics! This is something i really would rather not have on a poker forum!

I thought exactly the same Flushy. Did seem to be turning into an FHM thread.

Also it was making a new member feel welcome.
And possiblty putting off other possible new members, that may not have the good fortune of being a looker? TBH it left a bad taste, and I know I wasn't the only one that felt this way.

OK, that is a valid point too
Rest assured we kept an eye on that thread, where everything was posted with the encouragement and permission (in the case of the photos) of the new poster
Jane, we would have stepped in immediately if this wasn't the case.
Now this is only a personal opinion, it does not represent anyone else's views except my own, but I would like a little less of the innuendo and FHM stuff. I participate in places but everything in moderation!
