Well done Ruud

Well done Sweetman, very efficient and fair.

Looking forward to Ruud's quiz. Unlucky lad.

Thanks buddy, fairness and efficiency I can do. Easy RSQ questions; I apparently struggle with.

Easy RSQ questions you're fine on.

Just bone up on semi-colon usage.

This is bollocks.

Basically people aren't happy because they don't know the answers.

Can't believe I'm being criticised for having two poker questions in a quiz on a poker forum.

The questions arent being changed again. Because no matter what I do. Someone will pop up and say
"I don't know the answer to question 3. Can you change it to something I know the answer to"

You're all in the same boat people. Use your passes wisely.

tighty - I live in Stone Wink

Missed this reveal, obviously - but thought I'd highlight a key point that MintTravesty sort of missed and has since been magnified by the subsequent QMs.

This isn't a standard quiz, where you're rewarded for knowing more answers than other people taking part.

It's a RSQ. The idea is that EVERYONE can provide an answer to EVERY question. The skill is providing a correct answer that others don't. Questions should have at least 10 correct answers (sometimes it can be fewer, but let's use 10 as a guide). Some clever answers will be aces, some will be fails - that's where the gamble comes in. Then there's the aspect of trying to second-guess the other players and what you think they'll answer.

The RSQ isn't meant to be a quiz with ANY questions that people can't answer.  These might well be poker-related questions. You didn't ask people to name a card in a standard deck, or the name of a seat at the table (which everyone on here could answer), instead you assumed that people actually follow live poker as much as you do, and as you're probably aware now, that isn't the case.

In all fairness Kin I thought the idea of the RSQ quiz was ACTUALLY setting the questions when you have been the previous WINNER!! to my knowledge YOU won TWO quizes and then FAILED  Wink

Kin - which question(s) do you think people would struggle to provide an answer to? I just went back over my quiz and I cannot see a single question that anyone could not provide an answer for, with the possible exception of naming a character in the Bash Street Kids, and then only if they did not grow up in this country.

1, 2, 9 & 14 were a problem for me.  Might have come up with answers if I'd thought long and hard about them, but doubt they'd have been correct.

They were definitely more difficult than usual and this provides a big incentive for people to just google questions that they can't think of an answer for because the scoring system kills you for an incorrect answer.

Personally I quite like the tough questions cos it gives everyone a chance to learn some interesting stuff but really the game should be about how good you are at identifying what others would answer rather than finding a correct answer yourself. When there are only a few possible answers, people have a big incentive to google rather than give the only answer that they can think of which seems a lock to be the sheep answer.
