8.20 Wolverhampton £20 win Borug 7-1 general

good race this for a midweek class 4 staying contest

BORUG looks a reformed character since having its bollocks removed, ran two crackers on turf and a second around here in probably a better race than this,

always danger the horse may revoke to previous squiqqle temperament but callan seems to no the horse and i expected it to be 5-1ish

well a good day a slight feeling it could have been even better

bajan bear as said earlier no excuses just probably doesnt win the races it should  it hurt more because the same jockey trainer combination from yesterdays almost landed gamble did the same here (16-1 last night to 4-1) mick is certainly getting the money at present. I was quite happy with all right now considering it had pace pressure pulled for 6 of the 7 furlongs and still was there until half a furlong out.

pleased with artic lynx and could possibly progress again through the winter ridden quite close to the pace and sort of "fell" in watching again jockey always looked confident enough in the run. Judd Street never got involved and needs further and the headgear bit of a silly bet really.

Borug ran a cracker considering the pace was sedate did well to even get involved and didnt get that clear a run either could win again.

Running Total = £ 1367.12

Interested in once race at lingfield tommorow but a little wary as its the first day of the new polytrack so the surface could change things quite a bit.

nothing today

marmas was the horse of interest for me in the 2 miler at lingers and the 5-1 last night was tempting but couldnt get on

3-1 looks about right

squad and ostentation were taking so much of the market up last night i sensed the opportunity for a decent bet , squad looked like a group horse last time but isnt it was on the night moderate horses sprinted clear at kempton, ostentation has never shown it stays.

anyway no bet

Betfair place sp 1.41!

Can only think that as it was the last race, dirty ew-ers didn't want to risk a withdrawal foiling their cunning plan, so not much in the shops for it?
