Always awesome the WC.

The doubles format makes for some very interesting moments, the Deven Peterson miscount (been tons of replays lately) and the Nicholson blow up were brilliant Smiley

England 5/1 with Lewis and Chizzy?

The play singles and doubles point for each win

Fancy Scotland myself. Lewis is such a liability my wheelbarrow is scared of him.

Yeh Lewis is amazing darts player but not inline with full wheelbarrows, had a few wheelbarrow empties on his account this year! I guess with #2 and #3 in the world youd have to fancy them, but that MVG factor though!! If Chizzy and Lewis both turn up they will smash that 5-1 into the ground. Very hard to see a winner coming from anywhere else, or even anyone worth a sneaky bet. Northern Ireland with Brendan Dolan and Daryl Gurney at 40s or Australia with Whitlock and Kyle Anderson at 25s maybe?Huh??? Don't really see it.

England & Scotland both come in and Netherlands gone odds against now...people must be reading !!!

Is Wright definitely playing? He didn't last year as him and Anderson don't get on.

About 6 weeks ago when they faced off in the PL Wayne Mardle said they were going too, i was assuming he's likely in the know...if there is any doubt then i think that prolly makes them a massive lay at 15/8 even, made a PDC final the other week but aside from that Thornton's been miles off his best.

Yeah Thornton a huge downgrade. Even if Wright does play animosity between them can't help their cause any.

Only one of the matches is doubles though, against anyone but england or netherlands they'd be odds on have it won before the 5th point. They must respect each other as darts players even if they don't get along, so I'd say their personal issues probably no more of a disadvantage than Lewis' earth shattering inconsistency.  Looks more and more like Netherlands might be the bet at 6/5

World Cup teams are confirmed.

Chizzy & Lewis as expected, would have been shambles if wade got ahead.

Should be Cross and Chizzee.

Lewis and Wade are jokes.

Pretty sure the WC teams are simply done on the highest 2 players for each country in the PDC order of merit.  I don't think there is any selection process involved tbh.  Maybe not actually as Klassen is ranked above Barney.  I assume Barney is playing.

It's the top guy + 1 pick. Usually it's always the top 2 because...why wouldn't it be Tongue

Would have been mental tilting if wade got in over chizzy.

Ando & Wright playing together, we'll see how friendly they are against each other today in dubai.

Yeah it is done on the OOM. Klaasen will never be in the Dutch team as long as MVG is in it.

they looked like they were having a bit of a laugh together on stage before the game today and seemed cordial enough post-match?

I don't think it'll affect them too badly Scotland.
