Wright did shake his hand straight after Rob hit the winner, just wasn't going for it again when they were back at the table

The rucks are usually either for walking too close or for stomping around at the back. Watching it back he definitely didn't do either but Cross seems to have a sip of water after every single shot, must have been pissing like a racehorse at the worlds!

MVG does the double this weekend at the Players Championship.

Cadby made the final in the second, beating Gary Anderson on the way.

I am very confident he will make the PL next year - wonder if there's a market for that yet?

yeh he looks legit, if you can get your foot under the door in the floor comps really sets you up, that's basically what Cross did, get used to winning and if you got talent the big stage performances will arrive eventually.

So the UK Open goes ahead but behind closed doors: https://twitter.com/OfficialPDC/status/969515858749018112

Gotta feel for the fans who are already there having battled the snow and getting there early! This announcement from Butlins 2 hours before the start is pretty poor.

Love this tourn with the FA Cup feel to the draw, with anyone being able to draw anyone. Had tiny e/w outright punts on: Adrian Lewis 50/1, Jamie Lewis 100/1, Ian White 150/1, Ratajski (Polish MVG) @ 100/1 and De Zwaan @ 300/1. All start in the 3rd round and show up well on my 3 dart average stats from the floor tourns so far this year. Lets hope for some decent draws!

The butlins chavs will be rioting when they can't get into the darts after travelling hours through the snow.  Surely they will reverse this decision?

haha go on Jeffrey lad. Having a decent evening on obscure outsiders with strong floor form against names (Meikle, Van Duijvenbode etc.).

Didn't realise Kirk Shepherd still played.

Is he still a regular pro?

Had honestly assumed he'd retired years ago.

De Zwaan worth a tickle at 1000/1 for the worlds after that effort against MVG?  Could he be this year's Rob Cross.  He looked pretty cool throughout under pressure scoring and doubles wise.

Merv King looks big at 66/1 with bald for this weekend.  They said in comm he arrived on Weds to dodge the snow and did his usual grind of practice and looked really good today against Barney.  Shouldn't be this price for me in this weakened field.

Very impressed he swung that 56 in 2 darts. Was on him throughout the grand slam and he totally bottled it against Scotty shitdog after convincingly out playing him. Wasn't the first time in 2017 he'd ruined a dominating performance with a late game headloss. If that silly bit of nonsense gone from his game then he's a guy who can challenge top 16 for surrrrrre maybe even top 10

The young guys that grind the tour play so many games they get used to winning matches and I think it makes a big difference.

Love the darts.

If Cross wins by 2 or more legs. Win £12,500 from a £50 handicap acca!
