NUFC have given Demba Ba permission to speak to Chelsea. As a result he won't be included in tonight's squad.

Worth a punt on Newastle relegation? currently 12.0

A totally random thing from catching on the BBC's Football League Show today, does Clem's visit always lead to the home side effing up. Last Saturday was a classic, he visited Sheffield Utd for game vs Hartlepool. Cue 10/1 winner Smiley

Im hoping he stays away from City Ground over the coming months Smiley

Not putting this on Tikay's thread as it slightly unusual, and a touch risky.

Izale McLeod Top League 1 scorer - 16/1.

Has 10 goals currently.

1
David McGoldrick
Coventry City
 16

2
Clayton Donaldson
Brentford
12

3
Nick Blackman
Sheffield United
11

3
Jake Cassidy
Tranmere Rovers
11

3
Leon Clarke
Coventry City
11

6
Lewis Grabban
Bournemouth
10

6
Paddy Madden
Yeovil Town
10

6
Izale McLeod
Portsmouth
10

Now, this a funny market and we're gambling that David McGoldrick, who has returned to Forest, will move to another Champ club and not return back to Coventry.

Added to this, Jake Cassidy has returned for Wolves, for now, and Leon Clarke has only signed a 28 day loan with Coventry.

McLeod has today signed for MK Dons on an 18 month deal.

Interesting one, can look half-arsed somedays, but has signed for a team that'll make lots of chances and has scored 40 odd goals in 2 years.

for each way backers do you recommend taking the 14/1 top 4 or 16/1 top 3? both 1/4 of the odds.

Yeah thats kind of what i was getting at (which bet was was more value for the each way backers). I guess its personal prefrrence as to how confident or nitty you are, and how much value you think that extra 4th place gives.

Already highlighted that I think Villa are a good price at EVS, but now a little lower at 10/11. Lambert has said he is going for the win, so expecting a team out.

Not really much to go on for tomorrow. My own team Wednesday are at home to MK & according to Dave Jones we are going to go for it & have had decent results against MK last season, playing them off the park in both games last season & picking up four points. I may back us, but price is not amazing, as expecting a full side out for us at 13/11.

Furthermore... One I really like...

Palace v Stoke

The Palace fans have been telling us that they are putting a reserve side out for this game & Stoke already have bagged up 29 points and look very safe in the Premier League at the moment. The fans say Zaha, Murray and Bolasie are all not going to be playing & probably a few more. I would expect a very decent side out for Stoke and price look OK at 29/18.

A few Palace fans quotes for you:

I heard tickets are selling very slowly. Im going to sound tinpot myself but £20 to watch our reserves against an under strength Stoke side is a bit much for me.

I expect us to be competitive but without Zaha, Murray, Bolasie etc you would expect Stoke to have enough to see us off.

Should be a good test for both sides. I'd expect us to give some of the squad players (Wilbraham, Easter, Moxey etc.) a run out.

Not too bothered about progressing into the Fourth Round. Just hope it's a good game of football
