I'm sure the latest Sky Go is working on the One X - read something about it last week, not tried loading it on the work phone yet.

I think you're right, but not something I can use anyway - as my phone is rooted and Sky Go doesn't run on rooted phones Sad

Tom,

Completely off-topic, but when I found that photo, being a saddo, I then read the article which accompanied it. Just curiosity getting the better of me.

Here is an extract from it. These guys speak a different language to you & me!

".....On our Linux routers which run carp on the LAN side we saw some flapping going on. On our load balancers, we saw messages about late heartbeat messages. We use failover Intel teaming on our web server NICs and saw errors about missing probes. The problem was wide spread enough that it seemed to be the switching infrastructure, however there were no significant errors in the switch logs. We did see some ASIC and interface drops, but the incrementing of these did not seem to always coincide with major network blips in our infrastructure......"

Sixteen mind-numbing paragraphs later, by which time my eyes were bleeding as if they had endured a whole Online Staking Report bulging with Stars HH's, they TIO&TIO. Which worked.

Gotta love that!

Just got the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on EE, got the following deal

Unlimited Minutes
"          " Data
"          " Texts
2 Swappables
50 minutes to the U.S a month

£28.50 per month, I paid £30 up front for the phone and they were asking for £14 per month for insurance..

Brilliant phone, really happy with it..

(I should add, I've been with Orange/EE for 12 years and had some issues with being over charged with data recently)

Did you get the insurance?

Can you connect the phone to your computer via a USB cable and then view the pictures that you've taken as thumbnails before you download them?

Got my new phone.

Can't view pictures as thumbnails when connected to my computer.

What can you see?  Can you connect to the computer and see the files on your phone at all?

Can't set up multiple email accounts.

Why not?  Under settings and accounts you can add another Google account, or are you looking to add a non-Google account?

Can't drag and drop music.

From where to where?

Can see the picture files but just as icons rather than thumbnails.

Can't drag and drop music from 'My music' folder on lappy to player on phone.

Sounds like there's no solution for that one.  It's just the way the OS works now when the phone's attached to a windows PC via USB.

That might be down to the same issue.

My phone's rooted with a modded version of 'Jellybean', and I can mount the 'SD Card' (even though the One X doesn't have an SD card...) as a storage device, so wasn't aware of the issue.

If it helps, I mount sd card as a drive too, it comes up as an option when I plug the usb cable in.  I can't see the folders unless I do it.  Probably doesn't help but it's what I do to copy music across.

For the photos thing, I bet it's not much slower to just copy everything across into a new folder then delete the ones you don't want.  Not an ideal solution to what you need of course but it's an easy work around and it'd be easier to see photos properly from the thumbnail on the laptop rather than the phone.
