Cheers yeah, a welcome boost , taken the original 150 dollars I put on a week ish a go and left 400 on and hopefully won't withdraw again, annoyed at how I played the heads up but I can't really moan when I was down to 2 bb's 3 or 4 tables out and again with 8 left, nice to shove blind on blind for 2 bigs and get a fold Cheesy

End of month update, slow month played no where near the amount i wanted to but then starting a new job was always going to have to come first.

Finished the month up 410 dollars online, which for the amount of volume i put in is a good return. 270 of that is from tournaments and the rest from 5/10c cash tables.

Trying to decide whether to move the money over to stars or stick on here till i have played enough and feel like i can comfortably beat the cash games on 888 first. Also this is going to be hard to fit in too at the mo but like many others i need to lose some weight. I have a gym membership and need to start pounding it after work but once i finish i just want to get home and relax atm. Really need to shift between 2 and a half and 3 stone to be happy and i know it would have a massive improvement on my football and in life in general.

Just reserved seats for apat worlds at the end of March, hopefully go down on the friday and play the horse, razz, 6 max, omaha and HU. If i have to drop one to play the ME then i really don't know which one it would be but not to make sure i have the funds first. It's the weekend after payday which is nice. Suppose i could say that if i can shift a stone before the end of march then  i will treat myself to the main event.

I have been playing on my laptop all month and now have just set up my computer with monitors in my little office so hopefully playing and multitabling will be a better experience now because of bigger screens.

So far this is dying on its arse so to speak.

This month I'm up a little, still not playing anywhere near the volume I would like. Probably up a very small amount in cash and won an Omaha tournament for 120 dollars (2 dollar buy in).

The aim was to play cash only but it's not really working and I'm up a lot more at tournys. I still want to play cash but I'm def going to play some tournament sessions as well.

I have a goal which is that I want to make money from poker for two things. Firstly in a year or so I get a considerable amount for a deposit on a house. By that time I would like to be able to minimum at least match that amount and preferably have more than it. Secondly is to find a trip to America, Australia Japan and possibly a couple of other places.

Also starting march 1st I want to shift a LOT of weight so I'll record starting weight, what I want to achieve and how it's going soon. Scared to look at the scales tbh as since I got my job I feel like I've put on even more Sad

So the start of a new month, the main thing about this month is going to be the fitness kick. Had a massive meal last night before i started it today, went to this new chinese buffet place that's opened in Halifax near where i live. It's pretty awesome, loads and loads of food to choose from including lot's of peoples favourite Sweet & Sour chicken Cheesy and then they have a section for you to choose different bits of meats and fish and get them grilled up which is cool. We have a mongolian restaurant 5 mins from our house which specialises in that kind of thing. Then you get the dessert section, they have soo many cakes to choose from, an ice cream machine and then the greatest thing at all (not if you wanna lose weight), the chocolate fountain, marshmellows covered in chocolate are so nice and addictive!!

So as of today i'm going on a serious health kick, going to try hit the gym 3 - 4 days a week, i want to ban bread and chips straight away and then ill gradually phase out other foods when we run out of them. I guess the main thing is just to eat less, since starting my new job in January i feel pretty horrible, i'm basically a data input monkey for a web based company (wish it was simple data input sometimes) and i'm sat down all day which with other jobs i've never been used to. Top this off with when i get home from work i don't really go out and have had to stop organising football in evenings because i can't organise it whilst i'm at work. Pretty much at an all time high in my weight, i weight myself in last nite and i guess the best thing to do is say it on here, im 15st 3 which depressed me quite a lot but i was expecting it. Hopefully by embarrasing myself here it will encourage me not to slack off and to really smash this and give myself a new lease of life. The aim is to get in the best shape i've ever been in and hopefully make me a lot less self conscious and a lot happier in life in general.

My first aim is to drop to 14 st within a month in time for the Apat worlds and as a treat, if i manage to lose it i'll treat myself to the main event, if i get to 13st 7 then i'm going to treat myself by sitting in my first ever 50/1 cash game so if anyones around at that time there might be some free money going Sad. As i said in another post so far i'm planning on going down on the Friday and staying at the Raddison Holiday Inn untill Monday and driving back whatever time me and my mate are both out or both finished railing/playing cash.  Really looking forward to it, playing all the side events apart from stud, so razz, 6 max, omaha, heads up and horse. Only thing im worried about is that the live structures for stud  based/mixed games haven't always been the best in the past (imo) but i feel like i have probably played more of those games than most people entering so hopefully will have a small "edge". Should be a really good weekend and i can't wait.

On the online poker front i have probably been about break even in cash when i have played recently, i don't feel like i have run pretty well but also made some crappy plays and i need to tighten up. Maybe playing 2 - 4  more tables might help with this and i wont feel like i have to try and win every hand. I am going to hopefully play a few schedules of tournaments in the run up to the Apat's and probably look at a staking request through Apat as i have no where near enough posts here. I'll be playing 1 dollar rebuys and then mostly 2 to 7 dollar tournys with the "big 11" on stars and dailly double (12 dollars) on FT thrown in across 4 or 5 different sites (Stars, 888, Full Tilt, Party and Ipoker). If anyone can reccomend any tournaments that start between 6 and 9 on a weekday evening that have a lot of value that would be awsome Smiley As it is got a list of about 30 to 40 tournaments to choose from across the above platforms and then i'm going to highlight a few that i will definitely play and drop others depending how many tables i have running. I really want to try move up the rankings on Pocket fives (i suck atm) and hopefully have a bit of success.

Anyways good luck to everyone at the tables Smiley

Just back from the Apat worlds, slight losing trip in tournys. Played 6 max, horse and plo, bust six man with ak v a9 on a89 fiop, then bust the horse in 8th out of 40, a final table but no money as only six got paid. Lastly played the Omaha and grinded a short stack pretty much all day long. Got sat next to THE most annoying person i have ever been sat next to that made me want to go home and play online and not play live ever again. Eventually bust in 13th which was a min cash (as was 15th to 11th) but after the dissapointment in the horse tourny a cash in this finally means i should have a Hendon Mob record. Havent really played many tournaments at all that would count towards the Hendon Mob but its finally nice to be off the mark and definately a monkey off my back. Cheers to my mate Pilf for the support and encouragement to get me through the tourny, much love Smiley

Rest of the month i didn't play a ton but played the micro series on boss. A series of tournaments ( i think 13?) with prizes for the leaderboard at the end of the series. I finished 11th out of 800 or so regulars which got me an extra 80 euro on top of the 500 euro i picked up in prizes for final tabling the 3 dollar rebuy and 5 dollar FO. Got sick unlucky in the FO and maybe a tad lucky in the fo. Was really looking good for some extra money but pretty much bottled the last three tournaments which is really annoying looking back on it now.

Again for the amount ive played its been a decent month but i really expect to pick up the volume this moneth and will probably be playing quite a lot of mtt's across various sites.
