Wolt Poels was brilliant yesterday i thought

magnificent to watch him carry Froome up that last climb

this is a great picture above

if he wasn't a super-domestique would he be a yellow jersey contender in his own right?

Last chance to shake up the standings. Last mountain is the Joux Plane, notoriously tough.

BMC, Astana & Movistar will want (or should) test Froome after his crash. Break will be the usual suspects. Winner will depend on how hard & early the GC teams push the pace.

I think he just doubled his value this Tour. He's won a Monument, & ridden 3 week race like the best in the world.

Cold & wet, expecting more crashes. Hearing that the "whimsical flâneur" Warren Barguil is going for the stage.

Looks about right. Kittel has a full sprint train & is the fastest. But the fat boys have been dragging their butts over mountains the past week just for today. How they feel (f###ed) is unclear.

If you fancy an outsider, Dylan Groenewegen tweeted last night that his legs felt good. He'll need to be delivered perfectly by his team but 25/1 is a touch of value.

The women will race La Course ahead of the men.

A chance to see the fantastic Marianne Vos.

none of the cycling fans on here want to disucss this?

big story, no?

"It remains unclear, however, how many others at Team Sky had knowledge of Wiggins’s therapeutic use exemptions (TUEs), with the British team coming under increasing pressure to explain why and how Wiggins was prescribed the drug triamcinolone, particularly after Wiggins appeared to suggest on The Andrew Marr Show on Sunday that the team proactively encouraged him to take something prior to the 2012 Tour."

froome statement, careful not to use the words bradley or wiggins but makes it clear enough what he means!
