Me too, the last time I went 4/5 years ago I ended up watching the last few races on telly in the bar and betting on the phone with a friend who was working a pitch in the Best Mate enclosure.

i discovered a nice bar near the guiness village with easy toilet access. I do like to get down on the grass for the races though. Some of my mates just prop up the bar in the centaur all day!

Whilst God Cup day is pretty unbearable, the 40hrs or so from noon Monday to bedtime on Tuesday are always my highlight of the year.

Oh, and in for all four days obv.

I think that's the only way that I would go now.

I'm in the members, but no seat.

If there's a race I really want to watch, I get into position 20+ minutes before the race.

Last year, didn't have a bet on the World Hurdle but worth the trip just to hear that roar when Big Bucks and Voler la Vedette came to the last together made hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

Best day ever.

I'm off on a little 76 day jaunt as I need to get out of here for a while....I'm in the Gilli Isles during Cheltenham, however had just had the Super Trigg yankee in an effort to get my buy in to WSOP - APAC.
