So my first hand. Apologies for not being able
to use the templates.
I get KK utg
I raise to 350, blinds 50/100
2 callers

Flop Q 9 3 rainbow
I check
Villain bets 650
Villain 2 calls
I raise 2,000
Villain calls
Villaiin 2 folds

Turn a 6
I check
Villain checks

River Q

I check
He bets 3,500
I fold.

Should have led the turn ?
Should have led the river?
I put him on AQ.

His last win was the first on his own dime! So no.

Personally I'm firing 3500 on the turn there.

Not saying it's necessarily correct just what I'd have done.

I bet the turn but he's probably calling anyway with a big Queen. (In before inevitable jokes)

Comedy tactic of utg raise + check raise the flop, BTW.

You not played with Ian before?
At least one check-raise per hand as a standard. Two, if he can fit it in. Three if it's against Mitch.
The button is the nut worst position for Ian to play a hand.

Have only played a couple of hands with him before and either his c/raises weren't prominent or I wasn't paying attention. Either way, pretty sure he outlasted me Smiley

Did not realise the comp was a handicap.Everytime I have a
decent pair the French guy has aces. Not played
these rules before so will take some time to adjust.
Ed is doing OK but I am down to 13k . Plenty of time
but do need to hit a set to think about winning a hand.
Even the English dealers are in on it.

We all know you're trying to bust early and take Joe Stapleton's seat in the commentary booth.

Try not to bust then, Ian, as The Honourable Lord Stapleton, aka stapes, is not in Paris today, he is in London, with me. Wink

Are you taking him to Nottingham to do the commentary there instead?
