Newbury Racecourse's Best Dressed Gent. And What?

Bingo did his final bit of work this morning in prep for a spin in the juvenile hurdle at Kempton on Sunday.

He's done a tendon, and is expected to be out for a year. What a game it is Sad

Hopefully Asian Prince back from injury later this year so there's at least one horse to funk for in the family.

No?

Jeez, that must be a huge disappointment, but as you suggest, that's the very nature of the game.

Do they still need feeding when they are injured?..........

I live very close to Kempton Park, & was reminded of you when i saw the sign advertising this Sunday, so I had planned to pop along & watch the race.

No worries, I can tend my allotment instead.

Gutted at this end but not as much as Noel Williams. Small stable and he really had some hopes for this horse.

Have offered a compromise agreement to those willing to bet against me where I hope they show some clemency. Essentially offering to run one in a silly costume for charity, in exchange for the annulment of what appears to have been a woefully over-optimistic bet on my part.

So, yes, I shall be running one, but hopefully it won't be quite such a life-dominating event for the next 4mths!!

No. Those who would have been laying my bet. I'm not off the hook yet - one said he only agreed in the first instance as thought it was funny how idiotic I was being...the other I am yet to hear from. I know what result I'm hoping for but if the bet goes ahead I will give everything I have to make it!

Yes there's nothing like a wet January weekend in Normandy surrounded by surrender monkeys to lift the spirits.
