Fantastic news! Congratulations. Sounds like an excellent addition to the Gascoigne Stable.

Best wishes from those of us in Tatts.

Too good Tal.  Camel's response was decent as well!  Picture of Tobias in mustard cords within a week please.  You must have bought a pair in advance right?

Yes I am beside myself with joy. Ed and Helen are not going all Social Media on this so nothing on Facebook or Twitter so it's a sign of his high regard of Blonde that he's even mentioned Toby's safe arrival. Obviously I have loads of photo's and if I see anyone and you ask............. In other news everyone was quite please with Bingo's recent run out at Lingfield and there is a chance of another run out at Kempton on December 27th which being just down the road from Ed's home could actually see a little 'adventure'. Personally taking a break from the poker at the moment. Work has really taken off again and there just isn't any space although I may play some of the DTD comps in the post Christmas period but visiting Toby may just be about a zillion times more fun.

Evening all,

I'm getting alarmingly middle-aged and non tech savvy rather quickly so can't remember how to do that there photos thing. If someone puts up an idiot's guide I'll get on it. Headlines are as below...

- Toby is now 8nths old and just the best thing ever. He looks just like his Mum which is a massive bonus.

- I am grafting hard in my role of work which is both rewarding and fulfilling. Crucially it also offers a direct tie between my work and the compensation/future it delivers for us as a family.

- Helen is starting to think about the route back to work. This has raised a lot of questions about how the UK economy encourages/doesn't encourage some of its most valuable staff back to work.

- I don't really have the time to punt anymore but had a legendary GC day at Chelters with 25s (NAP), 15/2 and 22/1 (ew) bets. Ian received the full preview and won about £50. Well done that man...

- He continues to live a simply hilarious life but remains the living embodiment of what someone should look to contribute to society through their working life and how, if they are lucky/fortunate, they will be compensated for this. He also continues to play poker above his station / skill set.

- On a wholly unrelated note I hadn't played poker for 18mths but played a couple of weeks ago at DTD. Father and I started the game and I offered to toss a coin for position. He declined and told me to sit in position as he could check raise. It transpires position is still important in poker.

Is it time to re activate this diary ? I am semi retired now. Have more time on my hands and beginning to play a little more seriously . Is there an audience for my ramblings ?
