Rastafish nearly died on the way to or coming back from filming...

Driving down the A1 in his Merc, in the fast lane was a broken down car and full on 70mph smash into the back of it. Lucky to be alive.

Some interesting hands. People say the fish is lucky on the poker table...just wait Smiley

Happy memories.

That was on Day One, I seem to recall, so will either be in tonight's episode, or next Tuesday's.

I can honestly say that it was a stressful three days as I can ever remember, getting poker players & studio Crew, cameras, sound, da de da all in the right place at the right time is the stuff of nightmares.

The end result was exactly what I wanted though - folks playing fun poker, laughing & joking.

For those not aware, the chap on the left is Wayne Mardle, Mr Hawaii-Five-O, who is a famous Darty bloke. A competent poker player too, with a GUKPT Final Table (from one attempt) on his CV.

Yes, I selected the "poker players", but not the Celebs.

Flushy was on the list, but fell ill days before & so had to miss it.

I should add - no disrespect intended to any of them - that the criteria was "fun" & ability to have good craic & banter, more so than pure poker ability.
