David,

Changes from last Grand Prix are;

Day 1's 2pm start day 1's instead of 5pm (+ 3 hours saving)
Day 2 - 1pm start instead of 2pm (+ 1 hour saving)
Day 2- 30 minute clock with 45 mins on final (+1 hour saving)

It will finish in 2 days, the finish time will depend on the players that make the final table. Look at yesterdays Deepstack for example. playing styles at final table often dictate the finish time. I think for £50 we should not be asking players to spend 2 nights in hotels, maybe for £100 it can be a 3 day event, but at £50, think we have it about right here.

Cheers Rob

Thanks Rob - you guys do have a pretty good history for getting it right and you know I'm a huge fan.

I take it that the added hours will be used to add levels to Day 1. Which would give us a minimum of 20 on Day 1, back for 30 min levels on Day 2 starting a touch earlier and suddenly it all makes sense.

Can't wait to get started on the satellites.

It just keeps getting better. But how are you going to get this finished in two days Rob?

Day 1's we expect to take 17 - 20 levels, Day 2 will be long and rewarding Smiley

Not played a GP before so sorry if I should know this.

I am travelling down to play Friday which I will buy in online. I plan to stay till Monday regardless.  if I bust Friday I will wan't to try again Saturday. Do I just buy into both in advance to make sure I get a seat and then if I get through Friday, my Saturday gets refunded?

If you buy in via the online lobby and then bink a satellite seat can you switch it?  Any rough ideas when Fri/Sat would sell out based on previous GP's?

Thanks for your time.

Hi, for the live days can you buy in at the cashdesk? The event info on DTD site suggests it's online buy in only? Cheers

Hi My suggestion will be to buy in to both Friday and Saturday, if you make day 2 you can unregister 1 hour before the event starts on Saturday.

As for the event selling out difficult one these limited day1s do tend to sell out at least a week or 10 days in advance.

good luck

Could everyone other than DTD folks stop posting in here please. I have the thread set to 'notify' and every time I get a ping to say there's a new posting I think the satellites and Golden Chip details are up.

Cutting it fine if there's going to be 1000 Golden Chips again
