DTD ipoker - Support / Help Thread

Having real problems with the software at the moment and can't really use it.

Basically it takes ages to start up, maybe 20 minutes and it is causing serious lag problems on my computer making it unplayable. I have an oldish computer, even so, I don't have this issue with any other program I run on my computer other than the DTD software. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, any other help please? I'm not going to be able to play until this is sorted.

The reply I have from iPoker is -

"Please advise the player to check his firewalls and security settings as different software they can be all different. The software is working fine and we have had no other reports on this. There must be something on the players PC causing the issues.

Feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions."

Didn't work I afraid, I turned off my firewall and antivirus and had the same problem. Happy to explore any other options they throw at me.

Another suggestion...

It certainly sounds like an issue with the players computer. You can advise them the below.
1) Uninstall it.
2) Delete all temporary internet files. This can be done in browser by choosing Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete files / including offline content.
3) Restart the PC
4) Disable the use of proxy servers (open Internet Explorer -> Tools ->Internet Options -> Connections -> Lan Settings -> Untick "Use proxy server for your Lan")
5) Re-download the casino client
6) Re-install the casino client

Mr Woodsey. This could be a problem that was common years ago and it was the ISP restricting access to the actual site. If you have another means of accessing the internet with your laptop/PC try it and see if that fixes it. If it does then contact your ISP and get them to remove the restriction.

I have in the past registered a Genting account on their ipoker skin. I got a GQR number for them, I have found I can also use this on the DTD software and therefore never regged a DTD account instead just logging on with the details I got from Genting, it always worked fine.

I recently won a token for an ISPT day one seat which meant the token had to be sent to my DTD account. If I give them the GQR number I got from Genting and have always used on DTD will the token get into my account. I assume it will and live support have confirmed it is the same number and that everything should be OK.

Anybody come across anything similar and know if it works?

No, I won it from APAT so they need to put it into my account (which is why I need the number). That's why I wanted to check it could get transferred in using the same number, both cashiers are identical so I assume it must be OK.

RE ENTRY TOURNAMENTS

Re-Entry tournaments (RET) allow players to re-register for tournaments they were eliminated from. Players will be given the option to buy back in providing late registration is still open. This means if your Ace’s get cracked or you get runner runner’d you have a second chance at a larger prize pool.

MULTI-ENTRY TOURNAMENTS

On selected tournaments players can now effectively Multi Table a single tournament. Multi-Entry Tournaments (MET) allow players to register to the same tournament multiple times giving them numerous chances to land a big score. Each entry into a MET has its own chip stack and own hands. Players can register multiple entries simultaneously or use extra entries as second or third bullets if they get knocked out.

- Multiple entries will always be distributed to different tables.

- If a player has more entries than there are tables two entries will simply be merged into one.

 *MET will be available from Oct 1st 2013, on our new €1 + €0.10 “Euro Daily €1,000 GTD” Freezeout tournament. This tournament will also feature a €500 added on Sundays named “€500 Added Sunday Treat”.


CASH GAME TIME BANK

Players will now have extra time to make difficult decisions at cash tables with our new Time Bank. Players can choose to set the Time Bank to start automatically when their default time to act runs out, or they can choose to activate it manually with the click of a button right before their default time elapses. In addition, there is the option of activating the Time Bank automatically once the player has invested in the pot. Any left over time is saved for the next time they want to use the feature.

*Time bank will be available on selected cash games, from October 1st 2013.

 
LATE REGISTRATION FOR SIT & GO TOURNEYS

 Sit and Go tourneys will now benefit from bigger prizepools with a new ‘late registration feature. Similar to scheduled tournaments ‘late reg’ in sit and go’s will help increase prizepools meaning there is more prize money on offer.

 Stay in the action continuously while you do other things like surf the internet, chat, read emails and more.
