Peter Alliss does not look at all well. I know he is not everyone's cup of tea, & he is certainly no angel in business & money matters, but I hope he is OK, I really enjoy his laconic style.
I really love the Ken Brown "on-course" inserts, too, proper great lad.

I saw Peter in the flesh about 2 months ago and he looked ok, lets just hope he is under the weather.

Yes. He seems to have lost a lot of weight, not a good sign in a man of his years, and he does not strike me as the type to diet.

Ken was a better player than given credit for - the generation of european players he competed against will probably never be equalled for talent.

Agreed. He used to be quite fiery, and short-tempered, but he has mellowed with age.
If I could choose someone to talk and walk me round any golf course, he would be near the top of the list.

I like Ken Brown's slightly oddball style and am a big fan of Mark James too.

I have a mental picture of chompy pulling on his max-laying boots.

LOL, Westy deserves a break for wearing that orange shirt!
Apols for the Wood bet. It pissed down in Norway all week and I was unaware it was a heatwave over here, having made assumptions based on what I expected to be similar conditions!..Poor research....
Anyone but Tiger please!

No bets on anyone.
But really really want Westwood to win it tomorrow.
Top bloke, could be his last chance.

Just posted this on the TfT thread:
Looking at The Open leaderboard after the 3rd round, I think there must be some value in Hunter Mahan or Adam Scott. Both priced 8/1. E/w 1/4 odds top 3 places.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Westwood is indeed a top bloke and I would be delighted to see him win.
It would be a well overdue and justly deserved major.
The truth is that I really really want Cabrera to win and why oh why did he get so greedy on the 18th after hitting a virtually perfect drive?
