I'm giving up trying to pick winners at golf and sticking to the lottery from now on.

oh well, as a doris bet goes west, I wake to find that my little bet on a fat little aphribaranet has come courtesy of reducing tourn to 54 holes.

Not a big bet but 50s none the less and got him in a cross ew double with Olesen in AP tonite. With Tiger looking good realistically its a funk for the place, but should be a good sweat all the same. GL me!

Did he actually manage to find the Aphibarnrat Thai kid too?

He's deffo a genius judging by his tips over the last couple of years.

Aye. I tend to back his Euro tour choices blind but use my own staking plan.

Never so confident with his US picks but always considered. Didnt get paper til Weds and had fancied G Mac and Ernie myself. He had picked both, so bets got doubled. Mistake, but Olesen can make the year if he plays out of his skin!

Either way, Jeza paid his way!

They are used to birdies on the 18th hole in the US golf but this pic was taken on the 18th fairway during the near tornado that rained them off today.

Just needs a decent chip to go with it.

Trying to work out the reason for my disatrous run on the 3 balls.  Do bookies get "inside" info about players that enable them to push out the price?  I put the players recent scores in a spreadsheet that provides odds based on these scores, so if a price is long I back it (as long as there isn't something obvious eg hates the course).

One of the three balls was Overton- (2.38)/Duke- (2.62)/Pride- (3.25).  I can't see any reason why Pride should be the dog in that group, yet he was and shot two stinkers.

Anyone got any views?

Tiger has now won three times from four starts this season.

I bet on him once and am 0/1.

How many scores do you put in?

Do you factor in course form?

What about outright price?

When I used to price up 3 balls, the outright price was overwhelmingly the determining factor as my odds.
