Surely no penalty to the person that won his chips, and he takes what he hand before last hand?

As this isn't a satty, he watches the other guy bubble then shoves. We are hfh, therefore this hand counts, and the result stands IMO.

I agree with all this, so what happens with the 3k euros?

Is it dead in the prizepool and he is treated as a busted day 2 player?  It would be incredibly harsh if he actually gets nothing while the bubbled players get 300 euros seats
Should he get the 3k in cash?  No imo, because then he can just buyin for average stack but he should at least get something.

technically yes but he busted at the same time as someone else, on the same hand.  The smaller stack gets 300 euro seat, bigger stack gets nothing?

Might be fair to give him 10x 300e day 1 seats so he can keep trying and only actually gets money from refunded tickets after making it through a day 1

As an act of good faith maybe give him another day1 shot.

The 3k isn't dead as such, there's 50k of chips in there.

the bubble was for a day 2 seat

either he has a day 2 seat with zero chips or 6k chips

many players will make day 2 and get zero €
but it doesn't make sense to me that he makes day 2 with zero chips

All players on remaining tables had the same information available that the 20th player had already been knocked out and none of them made the mistake of moving all in only to be called behind and lose.

The action stands, the 19th player has 0 chips, his opponent who won the hand retains the chips he rightfully won.

€57,000 is added to the prizepool.

Is there going to be a secure locker/cloakroom at Wembley. Currently trying to sort my travel plans. If I come by train I will have overnight bags etc for day 2

Key point here is that you don't have to direct buy in for £2600 to get a chance of a slice of that. Still multiple ways to get in for a fraction of the Day 2 buy in
