Day Ones are going to play different levels depending on runners, and obviously the Wembley bubble might be prolonged

Its a different concept

blinds then re-set for day 2 and everyone restarts at 100-200 on Day 2a-2b having carried their stack through....there is no need to have a mechanism...

Thanks for the response Tighty. I think purists might disagree about having to play different number of levels on different day 1s. But that's good enough for me. Obviously something like this hasn't been attempted before, so I think it's cool these guys are diving in and trying to organise something of this magnitude. Cheers for the quick reply!

I absolutely agree Tighty. The nerd in me couldn't resist however though, and I had to ask because I thought it was an interesting problem. I agree with how they're handling it though. Good stuff.

Lol, unfortunately the day 1's are all pre-exams, but I think this tourney is just too good too miss. Luckily exams finish before the day 2 starts, so they'll be plenty of rofl'ing around going on in at Wembley!

Got 3 x 33euro tokens, when I had 2 was going to reg late and take add on, what are thoughts on doing that with a rebuy too or using the spare one elsewhere ?

That should get the numbers up on Sunday knowing there is 100 euro of dead money Wink

It's funny watching all the late reg wannabes registering and unregistering for the 7:30 so the tournament starts with exactly 56 runners.

But it still needs 56 to start right ?   If thats the case dont really see the point

I think it depends on your preferred style of play. The pre add-on stage is predictably gambly and you have to win a few flips and dodge the brutal suck outs to build a stack. Its poker Jim, but not as we know it Smiley .

If you jump in just before the add-on you're short stacking from the get go and you still need to win a few flips to make the prizes but I find its lower variance.

I've tried both and I've had most success in the mega sats using the late reg approach although it didn't work for me last Sunday in the 200 seat comp.

Good luck and grats on building your token stack!

Thanks, with 30/40k would I be that much of a short stack after add on break ? didnt see how last one went, wasnt intending playing from start as I assume 30/40k would be in with a shot after break, just trying to decide whether to use the rebuy for the extra 10k

already have 1 day 1 seat so prepared to take a bit of risk Smiley

With an immediate rebuy and add-on its a playable stack for sure. There aren't many cheap flops though because there's always a shortie waiting to re-shove. At 8 minute levels its not long before you're at 30BB so you have to get flipping with the short stacks.
