Not on either, but nice to see horsey hit a bit of form.

Cheers lads

Still frustrated by Saturday could so easily had three winners but alas not...

Hoping the 3.10 at Pontecarlo remains a 16 runner heat

I was quite interested by Best Trip in this, ground should suit, well drawn, testing 5f should be ok.

That's a relief, at least I don't have to back half the field! I also had a smaller bet on Cheworee. (though both bets were pretty modest amounts)

I like them, looks more likely he goes for Champ Hurdle? Looks like the price will be far too skinny when they do NRNB is the 7/2 worth it?

Well, Vautour and UDS are going chasing, so I just took a punt that he will go CH.

Far more qualified personnel here than me, but I didn't mind flicking a freebie on @ almost 400/1 Smiley

Morning all.

Was sadly indisposed yesterday so missed this at the time, but genuinely interested in the thinking behind this horsey.

Why does one horse pull out and suddenly its no bet. I could understand your the strategy was like Neils with the numbers being required as you back 3 or 4, but you have pinpointed one horse( I presume you were looking at Best Trip too).

The odds barely moved and it remained a 4 place race on Betty, after the initial WD.

Im pretty sure that one horse being taken out didnt decrease your horses chances(not being results biased btw)

From posts made across blonde betting area, I suspect you enjoy a punt as much as the next guy on here, yet the potential margins on this bet changed so little at the level we bet, I don't understand how it so easily becomes no bet to a "puntererer".

If I fancied one enough to suggest to Blonde(ie I must fancy it pretty strongly to do so) I dont see how it so easily becomes a no bet?

Simon said he was quite interested in Best Trip.

So was i, i never said i had backed it. On reflection i was not as keen as i thought earlier in the day to suggest a bet upon doing the race in more detail. The non runner was the icing on the cake for me. (Fwiw a very senior/highly respected blonde member who i help out betting wise agreed and made it one of his only two bets on the day) This led to me having a minimum win bet on the animal near the off.

You may think i am a "punterer" but i don't actually have that many bets (small nfl ones to keep me awake during night shifts talking £5/£10 max don't really count)

I have put things up on here that have won and i haven't backed and vice versa its not a betting log for me just a sounding board of opinions.

Spending a hell of a lot of time on the Breeders at the moment, hopefully will be a few winners ala Casper to come from that.

One from the timeform tracker today

SAVE THE BEES http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/wolverhampton/16:50/winner

Done me proud last two starts at big prices trying to make all in very strongly run races (did very well to hang onto 3rd at Catterick last time only one of pace to last)

He can lead up any field in this grade but fav apart there is not much pace on here at all. Will lead from stall 1 and hopefully AA decides he has to drop the fav in from stall 11. If he does i think Save the Bees can fight them all of late on at 10/1 win bet.

Haha

You're a better man than me then mate.

Not sure I could spend the sort of time on a race to warrant suggesting a bet and then not back it for such a small change in the circs.

But I am happy to admit I am a punterer(backed too many other duds on here to deny it)......a decent one, but one nonetheless.
