Cant believe I am gonna suggest two nine year olds in one day, but I am!
Vainglory 3.20 Epsom.
Ran twice at Epsom in this race, Investec Mile, being placed both times, off higher marks. Form on the ground.
Normally as its owned by the trainer, he lets the apprentices ride it, but tomorrow he has put Lane up. Another good sign.
Ew the safe play at BOG 12s generally

Taking the lay side of a 12/1 is a bit meh but Vainglory is a non-winner for me these days, quite happy to follow the others round. Think I'd sooner back him for a place on the machine if anything.

You're probably right Chompy.
It didn't look off one bit last time under Laura Pike, who I think was having her first ride of the year, so suspect it is primed for this bearing in mind it's record in the race.
Hoping it's a safe conveyance for the ew, but understand the reticence

good point on pike who i am pretty sure semi retired in the winter put a few lbs on (relative obviously) had a change of heart and has been on a big fitness thing to get back to racing weight
i actually think the horse has a good attitude just been so used to being used as an apprentice ride for simcock just lost that will to win by being given to much to do so often.

Certainly did mate. I tend to put question marks after my selections as deference to the Elders. My money is down already, so I can't get talked out of it
