i am puzzled as to why THANE OF CAWDOR is so big in the 8.30 BATH

2pts win 9-1 general (10-1 and 11-1 about)

slowly improved for this stable on the all weather, see no reason why the turf is a negative

Love trying to solve the Dash at Epsom each year.

This year I really like Ajjaadd 3.15 @15-1 will hill ew

Course and distance form and seems to be on the improve.

Last time it won from a bad draw after settling nicely, early on. Willie Twister obviously knew he had loads under him as he sat still for a bit too long and the leaders almost got away, but he quickened nicely. The way he settled I think a stronger run race, which he is likely to get tomorrow, will only help. Good middle draw, is a positive.

Willie Twister is replaced by another decent apprentice in Kieron O Neill, so not ideal, but still happy.

If I'm on the right lines, I also like Right Step in the 4.50. A course winner, with a trainer and jockey in form, and almost a stone lower than when he last won here. 11s generally.

just a small bet in the dash for me today

1pt win JIROFT 33-1 few firms

no idea why this is the almost complete rag of the field. All of the pundits have been telling everybody all morning how you need to be drawn high, the last two years in handicaps on this course that is not the case at all. The horse is unknown but with top sprint connections and from what i can find on youtube from its italian form has plenty of pace.

High numbers haven't been best at Epsom since the 90s.

Moderate baulk as he made his move, but never looked as happy early doors as he did last time.

Cant win em all.
