Just going to throw a random big priced one out there for today in the 3.45.

Lovely Pass at 40-1 with Victor looks too big for a horse with C&D form - beautifully bred too - fresh too, so I think should be more of a 16-1 shot. With the Hughes money back offer too I just think it's a big price.

It'll be interesting to see the effect this rain on top of the watering has on the draw.

High was definitely favoured on the first day but the last couple of days have seemed pretty even. Will soft ground favour high draws again?

Who'd be a clerk of the course?

The forecast rain didn't arrive yesterday leading to quite a few withdrawals so he takes the fairly obvious decision to water last night, now it's raining on top of that..

With all of Hughes whinging about the draw in the Coronation, could resist looking harder at the race.

After looking at all the collateral form of the big 2, I can't help but think Maureen has been very unlucky in her last two races, both the 1000Gs. Finishing 6th in both, in Ireland she was knocked from pillar to post and in England Pesslier gave her far to much to do. prior to that she was a comfortable winner of the Fred Darling, again, overcoming some interference.

Cant help thinking 16s is really quite a good bet....oh no....it has Frankie on board. Still, if he wins on Sandiva I am probably wrong about his "losing the plot". Happy to be proved wrong, if it gives this one a better chance!

Think its fairly clear Mr Johnstone made a mistake.

Skies cruised into lead round the bend and then just fell in a heap. Should have left him in the 1.4miler for sure.

Lesson learnt...probably not.

Just me and you left Bluffy!

Been keeping close tabs on this one since he moved from Meehan(Rubbish) to O'Meara(Genius).

Elusivity 4.25 Nap. Run a couple of lovely races in good company and not been terribly lucky, but that keeps him nicely placed to go well in the handicap. Should travel into the race nicely, as he can hopefully get plenty of cover and good booking with Quealy up. 28s ew with first 5 tonite, but maybe some first 6 concessions tomorrow.

Another one that has actually beat Elusivity at Ascot a couple of years ago(race worth watching), I fancy to run a big ew race in the 3.45.
Sirius Prospect ew 50s generally. Again, seems to be running back into form after a year or so in the doldrums(cliche city).

Hope to see my Fav flat horse of the moment Mont Athos win, but suspect he needs a little further, and all eyes seem to be on another challenge for Melbourne. GL

Probably won't be short of finding backers for sirius prospect on here.  When i first came across this forum i saw a thread titled 'this could pay for xmas' sirius prospect was the tip then and judging by the length of it, alot of people got on.  Anyway i'm on both, good luck us!

LOL, fun read.

I think me putting it up at 50s seems a touch fanciful now!
