Meh. Got totally unbalanced at top turn and lost place. Not an ideal place to be on the rail for a big horse, but ran on very nicely. No payday today, but keep it in your tracker.

A pleasing day with the two biggest recommends helping to make a v decent chunk for the one or two of those that followed the lot.

Til next year. Adieu.

Hey hey let's not wait that long, you taking the year off!

Having been mixing it between 6f and a mile in the hottest of races, his last race was in the Breeders Cup Mile, and wasn't beaten that far, Cristoforo Columbo finally runs over 7f.

At it looks worth a decent ew bet. This looks like his distance to me.

15.40 Pontefract anyone any thoughts on Spruzzo, described as thorough stayer and previous winner of this race DG, in which many have stamina doubts. Of course recent form is poor, thus 20-1 is offered.

http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/beverley/15:05/winner

the 11/2 thats still just there Singeur is well worth backing each way imo

Pretty simple case really

Course and Distance record 122

2nd start after a break over 5 furlongs 1111

Loves the track the ground drying out to more good to firm suits him more than it does most of the others. Cant beat the fav on the last run but first run after a break is always a pipe opener and soft ground is a complete no no.

Added bonus is the excellent Jason Hart has started the season really well.

Had a wee flutter at 11/2 ew - was sure it squeezed into 3rd.

What a lovely little course Beverley is - would go there again.

Love the Neesom.

In the space of 10secs he criticised a Racing Post betting forecast and roffled at a Kenny Johnson horse going off evens.
